Man this . I loved MJ's music. I grew up on that . I went through 3 copies of thriller on tape because I played it so much.
But I hate all this fake bull where people act sad that he's gone. Over the past 15-20 years rarely did you see good news about this man. The news were always running some story about how ed up this guy was and people were always asking "what happened to Michael?".
But now every news network is covering this like it was the death of the Pope and every person I see is so sad this happened. (I admit I'm posting this before reading this thread so maybe some of you aren't) and its fake and its annoying. I'll be happy when this bull is off TV but I'm sure the networks will milk it all weekend long.

Very strange, at first it was no big deal to me. I even chimed in with my own jokes after a few people posted some. But then I watched a few youtube videos of him and it hit some kind of nerve from my childhood, I started balling remembering how much in awe of him I was as an 8 or 9 year old kid when Thriller came out. How I used to run around wearing the vinyl thriller jacket and beat it jacket. All of a sudden I didn't really find anything about his death funny any more.
No matter what kind of weird freakshow he had going on in his personal life you can't deny that in his prime he was truly a superstar like we have only seen with maybe Elvis. His music will live on forever whether you label him as a sideshow freak, pedophile or whatever. Im officially done with any MJ jokes. RIP MJ.
