Oh yeah, You got something going on with Carnival Rides right? The Yuma County Fair is going on right now, say...You gotta anymore of them "Pre-Sale" Tickets?
I don't remember Smitty doing that either...even if he did...at least Smitty taught Parker how to shoot.

Since he'll be working for a contract for next year (I'm not saying a contract with the Spurs) then he'll probably have a work ethic better than we've ever seen from him.
So it's not a big deal. He'll come here, smile at the end of the bench, play spot minutes and knock down some shots. If he doesn't, he'll be cut. This was a no brainer pick up. No risk.
That being said, he was on IR with the Sixers because he was a cancer, not because he was really hurt. So it will be interesting to see how/if he adjusts to being a spot minutes bench player here in San Antonio.
I remember it the day he was traded. The trade was made because he demanded the extension, and then he demanded it from SA or he would not report. I know timvp has to remember this.
He withdrew it a couple of days later and then they had a lame press conference where he held up the jersey of another baseline favorite, Paul Pressey.
Paul Pressey.
Oy........ Brent Barry revisited.
Outside shooter, sixth man of the year candidate, can run the point.
Eery similarities.
When you put it that way Kori, your right, it is a no brainer, if he plays ball and gets along, makes shots and is a team player, then thats great.
But to be effective, I think he needs more than spot minutes.
Id slide him into Devin's minutes to take some pressure off Manu.
Well Kori I garuntee the SPurs spelled it out, your not gonna be focal point number 1, and your not gonna pull teh BS you did in Philadelphia, you play ball, or get kicked the out.So it will be interesting to see how/if he adjusts to being a spot minutes bench player here in San Antonio.
If hes smart, he plays it right, and pulls a Speedy Claxton.
wow that is crazy. I can't believe I don't remember that. crazy.
Yeah, I'd give him a little of Devin's minutes now. I'm just talking about when Devin returns. Glenn will get spot minutes at best when Devin's healthy.Id slide him into Devin's minutes to take some pressure off Manu.
Yes, I remember. He was threatening not to report to training camp if the Spurs didn't give him a three-year extension, IIRC. After the Spurs talked to him for a while, Smith decided to not push further for the extension and had that press conference with his wife and kid.
It was a desperation move by Smith and the Spurs called his bluff.
Oh, yeah.
I totally agree there too.
But, IMO, It doesn't look good that Devin is comin back totally healthy.
If I were the Spurs, and he comes back, and if he still has pain. Shut it down, one season isnt worth ruining a good future.
Well, in that case.
Steve Smith is just as bad, as Vinny Del Negro.
agreed. Although lets say the spurs do not plan on resigning Devin next year, Do they play him then?
I think the Spurs DO plan on resigning him.
I think he gets part of the mid level exception along with Scola.
yea so do I. I was just hoping to invoke a very passionate devin fan.
This isn't a career threatening injury because there is no actual disc damange, simply nerve imflamation.
devin is not a house
he's texas boy, he'll be looking good, feeling good, staying right between sbc and hillwood
How much more opposite can you get going from one Robinson to another?

I hope it works out, but I can't see it.
Not this late and not with his background.
Very surprised by Spurs management.
Cheap doesn't always mean go for it.
I tell you right now this will mess everything up.
well barry is worthless now
he will press
You're quacked ducks!
Barry will be relieved to finally have someone on the team that makes him look good on D...
Wow... I didn't see this coming.. Does anyone know what his jersey # will be? Things are starting to get a little weird around here. Which makes me an eensie weensie concerned. I am somewhat surprised that Pop made a move like this considering all of the "baggage" Glenn brings with him.. Well.. we shall see.

It won't be easy to give Malik's # to the Big Dog..........

on nba live 2005, he's wearing 31, which sounds kinda familiar huh? On the game, he's not bad at all. Hopefully some of this can be true in reality.
NBA.com report says Robinson is in questionable shape. Whether they actually know or merely are articulating the conventional wisdom that he must be out of shape since he hasn't played is moot. He CANT be in 'game
shape' without having played.
They need to give him all the minutes he can take until his tongue is hanging out like a Big Dog that's been running raccoons all night if they hope to have anything from him for the playoffs.
