i honestly don't see a TP w/ two fouls get benched that often and i would have to say hes not playin gd D and fight hard thru the screens

To speak about tp I think you're just a little biaised sometimes, I don't see u a lot praising him when he is doing a good job on defense so my guess is that you're partial. I'm not saying you're hating tp but obviously you don't like this kind of pg. too bad.
He made a foul on Deron Williams to prevent the easy basket, i call that a good defense.
Then Hill enter in place of Parker and Deron score with ZERO defense of Hill.

I am very happy on how we are playing. We are a much better Team than we were the last time we faced the Jazz in Utah. In fact, we are playing like we did against Boston and Denver, but without the stupid turnovers, fouls and missed free throws.
That's what we are doing much better now. We aren't making stupid High School turnovers. We aren't making stupid passes. Our ball movement is very clam and directive, and we aren't fouling like manias.
We need to come out into the 2nd Half with the same kind of energy, because we all know Utah is going to make big runs. Lets keep playing good Defense, and the Offense will come. Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Matt Bonner are in beast mode right now. Hopefully, Manu and RJ can get going in the 2nd Half.
Alright, here is to the 2nd Half. Let's get a "W" on the Road.

He is expected to play well. He has not consistently shown that he is playing well enough on defense. happens when Ty Lawson punishes you for sloppy defense which is happening throughout the course of this season.

Oh ya, letting Deron Williams getting good position before fouling is good defense? If Williams had not been able to get position, was there a need to foul him? Where was I even arguing for Hill? Like someone said, Hill had his own lapses too.

u know tp: he is not going to play consistent defense every night untill PO comes. When PO comes he is a good at D. And no he is not a passing first pg. He is what he is a ing all star he is no Magic Johnson.
