ty lawson, westbrook, rose*, wall, up for debate..
So the fact that Parker just decimated a guy that you list as among the fastest in the league means what, exactly?

It is not surprising that we are not looking as good as we did against sub-par teams. This is a great OKC team and they would love to break our win streak. I don't know if we will pull out this win or not, but it s good to see us fighting and scrapping.

Tony has been playing some good D in the last two games. If the starting pg for the other team had gone off, TP's defense would have been blamed. When the starting pg for the other team goes 1 - for 11, people here talk about how bad Westbrook is.

More ball movement for the 2nd half, lots of plays where the ball just stops moving and they settle for contested shots.

From my notes: Leonard clearly the best player in that half. Not only shooting and boarding well but limiting KD to shooting nothing but long range 2s and 3s. Fantastic, all-star half from Kawhi.

The worst part about hearing Thunder commentating is that I don't get to see Spurs highlights at Halftime.

Parker just destroyed Westbrook in the open court. Tony made RB look absolutely plodding. Parker's speed is one of the most underrated qualities in the history of the NBA. He still might be the fastest player in the NBA. ing insane.
    Yes sirree.

And since 2007, for most of the time he's been one of the top 3 PGs in the game, but few recognise that either.

Sorry, but the stats that were in the local paper the other day based on the new multi-camera in every arena stat line (I can't remember the name of the thing, tbh) but that listed Tony as third fastest in the league and as running more miles per game than any but one other guy. (Can't remember who the other guy is but I think it may have been Wall).

Just 'cuz you do't like a guy doesn't mean he is not good and/or a hard worker.

    Fox Sports Oklahoma halftime analysis:

Old Woman: The Spurs are old and depend on rotation to win games.

Average age of the Spurs- 28.3 Thunder- 26.3
    Experience? Spurs- 6.0yrs Thunder- 5.3yrs

This is so ing re ed. What winning team does not rely on a good rotation and quality depth to be a first tier NBA franchise? And old? 2 years average is the difference. Miami is the oldest team in the league at 30.7!!

Seriously go bake cookies and off.

It's because he doesn't dunk or he doesn't have a 40 in vertical. Parker makes him and Cp3 look bad, yet he constantly gets snubbed up til more recently. Perfect example why okc will not win a championship with Westbrook. You cant win a guard that takes shots like he does.

Yeah, Usain Bolt isn't the fastest guy either, those races he won means nothing!

He's solid. He was fouled on his jumper at the top of the key in the 2nd but no call.

i dont understand how kawhi is more involved in some games but stands in the corner and wait while parker do his thing in most games?

they can obviously do it, kawhi doesnt have to shoot and be the primary scorer but he's always gotta be a threat like this game

we also saw this kawhi last year against thunder and he was dominant
I guess some matchups are better for him than others. There's some nights where TP can create, or nights where the bench has to carry the load offensively. That's the beauty of having a team with this much depth. Kawhi's time will come though. Doesn't need to be rushed

I think he is a great addition. Good ball handler, good court vision, good basketball iq. He's not brilliant, but he is an upgrade from Neal, imo. When Manu and Marco and Diaw are on the court at the same time as the second squad, one of the reasons they are so good is three ball handlers, whereas the starters have only Parker as a ball handler, tbh.

I've never seen Durant lock down a guy so it's probably a good thing for Kawhi to go off and make Durant work.
