Now Eyebrow vs Blazers. Yey NBATV.
Losing to philly would have been hilarious.
Soo close. Too bad Daye is a chucker, they should've let Matty Ice go 1 on 1 on that last possession imo.
Nice run for the Pelicans. AD is playing great
Ryan Anderson is a championship level role player, imho.
This team is fun to watch.
If Asik had played tonight, this game would not be close
On a scale of 0 to 100, 0 being no chance in and 100 being totally attainable, how available will Ryan Anderson be close to the trade deadline?
He's the best stretch 4 in the game right now, if he stays healthy until the trade deadline and the Pels are in the hunt, no way in they deal him. If he gets injured again, which is the most likely scenario, all bets are off.
I would say about 20. I'd say Gordon will be around 55.
I hadnt seen him in a while...wtf is up with Big Baby. That looks obese now.
Pelicans would be a threat if they had a head coach
2 straight possessions without davis touching the ball![]()
Pelicans can't close games worth a . Characteristic of a young team. They'll be a force in 2 or 3 years.
Thanks to Tlong's, though. We needed this one.
i strongly disagree with the notion that we needed a pelicans loss in november
West is too stacked, especially our division, and who knows when Tiago and Beli's vaginas are gonna heal. Furthermore, the Spurs aren't playing too sharp lately. I don't want to be in a dogfight for like the 4th seed toward the end of the season. All these "up and coming" teams who can potentially be a threat losing is a good thing.
we'll see what happens in the b2b game tonight at Sac. Monty Williams historically gets blown out in a b2b after a loss. This game will tell if the Pelicans might turn a corner this year or if it's the same old story.
Did you notice how rattled Monty got when the Blazers went on their run to get the game close? He's the complete opposite of what a young team needs. A young team needs a veteran coach who knows how to keep the team composed. Monty looks so mentally weak out there. He is out of his league.
The Peli's have a nice team. Anthony Davis is a straight up stud. I read somewhere that New Orleans tried extremely hard to acquire a top 5 pick along with Davis to try and get Lillard. Glad that didn't happen.
Not really sure about Monty if he is good or bad. But you guys that watch them play for 82 know more than me or Spur fan that watches them semi-regular. I still think you guys need to move gordon and I think tyreke is not a perfect fit with Davis either tbh. I think a core of Asik, Jrue, Ryan A and The stud Davis is a great core to build around and Rivers is finally showing some of his promise. Really like your team but I think you guys are a couple moves away from being a real threat to do damage in May ....
Um, no.
