Have the worriers beat anyone healthy post season?
He's done. There's no reason to play him after tonight point.
Have the worriers beat anyone healthy post season?
He won`t play in game 4, having 0-3. Pop may even sit Manu just for fun
Even if they somehow win tonight?
they aren't winning tonight
Risk further injury, he has all offseason to rest and heal.
It's Pop's beard. End of story.![]()
I bet u thought that about game 6 vs Houston too
That sucks, but agree that Leonard has way too much career ahead of him to push. Maybe if this was 1-1 he plays, but why risk it down two?
I'll be very interested to see how LMA reacts. I think he's playing for his future on the Spurs tonight and in game 4.
Well, this will be the third time Pop will be swept. Warriors will be added to the Suns and Lakers. Sucks to see Ginobili's last season end like this. Time to bump the off-season thread. But one thing is certain, we need more shooters and play-makers/creators on this team. With Kawhi injured, this team looks like a deer in the headlights on offense.
Houston is not the Warriors, come on now![]()
But I like the decision tbh. No need to turn Kawhi into Grant Hill 2.0
How much money TV and NBA will lose on that decision by Pop ?
K wouldn't have been 100% anyway
I know. But i think it's possible they can get an emotional win.
OK numbnutz, how about risking PERMANENT injury? Have you ever heard of Grant Hill?
When Spurs winning championships with Kawhichael this series will be buried 100 pages deep on most forums and dub fans left to curse LeBron for an eternity.
This is a fair take.
If the Spurs ever win another le. I'm going to be rubbing a lot of salt on these opposing fans that justified Kawhi's injury by playing the Bowen card.
Have you ever heard of Stephen Curry?
Fair enough son. Agree to disagree.![]()
Here's what I believe their thinking is:
They asked themselves, what is more likely? We win this series with a hobbled Kawhi, or we win one game tonight without him? They decided the latter is more likely (I agree, considering we're already down 0-2). If the Spurs pull off a miracle and win tonight, that 2 extra days could really benefit Kawhi. Then we'd have a puncher's chance.
All that being said, 90% chance we're getting swept.
Golden State isn't Houston. The two situations aren't comparable at all.
The Spurs had a legit shot at beating them this year, and proved it in game one. You land that first haymaker and it can changes the entire series. You immediately put them on their heels and the pressure kicks in. And we've all seen how they react to pressure, especially the new kid Durant.
Like I've said before, the frustrating part about this is none of this matters. According to ESPN, etc, warriors Cavs was always going to happen from the moment Durant signed with GS. The second the horn sounds and this series is over, the real story of this series will be swept under the rug and everyone will immediately move on to the "dream matchup".
