    LOL prove a negative.

Your claim, your burden of proof, dumb ass.
Okay. Well the "positive" is that the door is wide open for illegals to get services and to vote for them. Shut the door or shut up, tbh.

It's nothing like that. It's more like banning the opposition from running at all. Dude lost congress, so he took over the SCOTUS there, disbanded congress altogether, jailed opponents.

There's democracy in the US, despite whether you like the election results or not. There's no longer a democracy in Venezuela. They'll have dog and pony show elections under Maduro's rules.
No, the US is nothing like Venezuala, you are right about that.

There is still democracy, but the kinds of things that ed up Venezuala are at work here as well.

Random Guy and Boutons have both been hysterically hyperbolic since Hillary lost.
Nepotism. Putting political correctness over competence. Attacking free, critical press as being enemies of the state. Undermining the rule of law.

You have been hysterically silent on this since Hillary lost.

Is the media the "enemy of the state"?

Are people traitors if they don't clap for the president's speeches?

Random Guy and Boutons have both been hysterically hyperbolic since Hillary lost.
President Donald Trump said Wednesday his administration plans to "take a strong look at our country's libel laws," calling the current rules "a sham and a disgrace."

Speaking at a White House Cabinet meeting, Trump said the goal of the effort would be "so that when somebody says something that is false and defamatory about someone that person will have meaningful recourse in our courts."

Trump has a long record of threatening to sue journalists who write things about him that he does not like.
With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? Bad for country!
If Democrat said either of these, you would lose your .

Here is your chance to prove you care more about the country than the magic "R":

    1. Should the president be able to sue anybody who gives him bad press coverage for libel, like dictators do in other countries?

    2. Should the president call for revoking broadcast licenses of anybody who gives him bad press coverage?

He didn't start off doing any of that, but wound up to it after years of doing everything he could to undermine any source of power outside the government, and undermining democratic ins utions.

Just because we don't have an imperial presidency yet, doesn't mean the parallels and current comparison is invalid.

    Trump has attacked:
    Free press
    Judiciary
    Congress
    Law enforcement.

Any check on his power is criticized, and he is whipping up his supporters to go after any alternate source of power in the government.

    Does that help explain it?
