If you are going to go by this logic (meaning what is the “norm”) then how are you not all over Kawhi for not being a leader or present? What Kawhi is doing is the opposite of almost every other player. Not being there at the games, ducking from interviews as the face of the franchise, not being a team events, etc...

Not sure why you say he wasn't in home games. He was. The few times he wasn't there it was because his baby girl was sick or he was training in NYC/SD.

Also, he gave an interview. Maybe people want Kawhi to gives 10 a week but he's not that guy. Anyway, he said he was injured, he said he was working to return but couldn't step-backs anymore, he was positive about being a Spur for life.

Personally, i don't think he is a complete villain, but I'm fairly convinced that "his group" took over after seizing on potential internal anxiety/frustration that may have beset him throughout the rehab..
