Cruz is acting smug just like Hillary did. Not campaigning at key places because she thought she had the votes locked in.
Also needing daddy Trump who called your wife ugly and your father a killer to try and bail you out.![]()

Trump Combats Sexist Ad With Retweet Calling Heidi Cruz Ugly --- MAR. 24, 2016
GOP front-runner Donald Trump started a Twitter feud with Ted Cruz over a -shaming Facebook ad featuring his wife Melania. Though Cruz actually had nothing to do with the ad, Trump said he’d “spill the beans” about Heidi Cruz if the Texas senator wasn’t careful.
Now it appears these mysterious “beans” may be that Trump doesn’t think Heidi is very attractive.
On Wednesday night Trump turned to the retweet, his favorite passive-aggressive attack method, to point out the irrefutable truth that Melania is prettier than Heidi (when Heidi screws up her face into some weird pose never seen in real life).

This is true tbh. Never seen a cruz sign in real life.![]()
boss Hogg in the cut
Honestly, why didn't Beto think of this? This is effective.
Or not. It's Texas after all.
Billboards like that will just get people to vote for Cruz so they can own the libs.

I don't know. This assumes all Trump lovers are even aware this tweet was from 2 years ago. There are likely plenty of them who would be dumb enough to think it's current and vote accordingly. These aren't the top minds in the state, after all.
Astute observation. Dead on.
This is ing hole TX, no Dem has won state-wide election in 24 years.
Beto will do best in blue HOU, DAL, AUS, SA, while Cruz, like any Repug, will win in the ex-urbs and rurals.
Texan Repugs would rather vote (white) Russian than vote Dem, Dem being the party of knitters, Mexicans, LGBT, atheists, abortionists, wimmen.
And Trash is supposedly coming to ing TX to pimp for Cruz, he of the ugly wife.
rednecks, bubbas, kickers, dirt scratchers, line dancers voting Dem? IBIWISI
I only wish you were wrong. Unfortunately - you are probably spot on!

Lyin Ted, he of the ugly wife Heidi, phoned for Trash, so I guess Trash promoting Lyin Ted, he of the ugly wife Heidi, is only fair.
Boy done called Ted by his given name like a boss.![]()
A sure sign(s) that Cruz is ed! Amirite?
So Beto is spending lot's of money on yard signs and Cruz isn't because they don't think they are effective at turning out voters.
Every ad makes me like Beto more’: Ted Cruz’s latest attack on Beto O’Rourke for swearing massively backfires
A new video ad posted on Cruz’s Twitter account attacks O’Rourke for repeatedly dropping the f-word during various public appearances.
“If Beto shows up in your town, maybe keep the kids at home,” the ad states.
Ted CruzGiven Cruz’s full-throated support for President Donald Trump — who was infamously caught on camera bragging about committing sexual assault — the senator quickly found himself getting hammered by Twitter followers who slammed him for being an egregious hypocrite.

A #LaborDay picnic is a great place to bring the kids.
A Beto O’Rourke rally? Not so much... #TXSen

Which picnic are you at Ted?
The one where a guy who brags about grabbing pussy without consent
calls your wife ugly and
then doesn’t apologize and
you end up making phone calls to support him?
That ing picnic?

Texans will still vote for Cruz. SMH
As perfectly illustrated in this thread by Chris, calftats and good old Snakeboi.
Cant believe I'm saying this but Texas ain't no Alabama.![]()
Trump didn't win because he was Trump, he won because he wasn't Hillary. People won't be swayed to vote for a (relative) socialist for any reason; they will vote against specifically what Beto is promising to do as an elected politician. "Nothing" is better than that.
Cruz allies take aim at O'Rourke over eminent domain, father-in-law
The Club for Growth, a national conservative group that recently announced plans for a seven-figure investment in the U.S. Senate race, is launching its opening salvo at Democratic nominee Beto O'Rourke.
Allies of U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, are targeting his Democratic opponent, Beto O’Rourke, in a new TV ad over his support on the El Paso City Council for a plan to redevelop downtown El Paso that raised the threat of eminent domain.
The plan never went that far but fueled a contentious chapter in El Paso politics starting over a decade ago. The new TV ad from the Club for Growth — a national conservative group that recently announced a seven-figure offensive in the race —
portrays O’Rourke as a puppet of wealthy developers who pushed the project, including his father-in-law, Bill Sanders.
The ad goes on to refer to eminent domain as a “government wrecking ball”
and ends by tagging O’Rourke as “Beto the Bully.”
The commercial is part of an at least $1 million investment in the race that the organization announced last month, seeing a tightening race between O’Rourke and Cruz, on whom it spent lavishly in 2012.
Another super PAC, Texans Are, is also planning to spend into the seven figures on the race, and its first TV ads were hitting the air Tuesday too.
https://www.texastribune.org/2018/09...minent-domain/
the Club For Growth (of the oligarchy's power) is against "eminent domain"?
eminent domain is screwing RGV people for Trash's stupid wall.
eminent domain is screwing people all over the USA along BigCarbon pipelines.
the Club For Growth is against real estate developers?
Texans are more than stupid enough to fall for this
what are the latest poll numbers on this race?

Cruz had a comfortable 6 point lead on average. Now he's under 5 and within the margin of error. That's why he and his supporters (I know he has them, even here) are nervous as .
Some will. Plenty of people will hear "socialist" coming from the Cruz campaign and be scared into voting for Cruz. But at some point people are going to notice their wages haven't gone up despite the promises and tax cuts from the Republicans who currently control the government and they're going to be persuaded to try something different. Generally the conservatives who have listened to Beto and attended his rallies don't find his platform to be a harbinger of the scary socialist scape that conservative propagandists have been warning about.
