You were claiming to be black pre-Mark Bryant avatar and the now Marcus Bryant name.
It's called SpursReport.com, do you not remember that place?
Exactly.So what?
You were claiming to be black pre-Mark Bryant avatar and the now Marcus Bryant name.
So what?
Oh wow. You must have short term memory loss.
Nope, never did. I only used a handle and you or whoever else assumed that because I had his pic as the avatar for a handle that I was indeed African-American.
...or perhaps you haven't a clue as to what you are claiming. That wouldn't be the first time.
Why would I assume you were black when you had Mark Bryant as a avatar?
![]()
Could it be the fact that you said you were black.
I've been posting at the same sites as you for some 5 years plus.
I have a clue.
Well, that's the only possible explanation.
Nope.Could it be the fact that you said you were black.
If so, you'd know I never made such a claim.
What is this thread about?
Yep.
Denial is all you have. Go with it.
Funny, denial is your signature line.
I don't know. MB is just pure entertainment.
Buddy Holly's nocturnal emissions, or more generally, his stupidity.
Ok, we get it. Marcus either did or didn't say he was black. Buddy either did or did not ask permission to post Slomo's pictures in an Nsync message forum.
Nobody ing cares.
Can we move on now?
MB, workin' on that project. Getting ready for 7th grade. Needs to head on to bed now. Mustn't be late.
On to what?
Truth or dare? Twister? Pin the tail?
At the risk of introducing a possibly relevant idea into this thread, I thought I read somewhere that the county might sell the land that Willow Springs sits on to provide land for this type (general) of project. That might be just the right amount of land to build a racetrack and a multi-use stadium for both football and baseball. That would leave enough room for parking and/or use of the existing parking across the street at the SBC would allow for more development on the Willow Springs site. Also, as long as new barns were constructed on the original land donated, would that still cover the county under the terms of the original donation? Just as an idea to cir vent this type of issue, since some of the barns will be rebuilt, couldn't (asking here) they be rebuilt on less prime land (far corner in a less desirable area) and free up the space next to the SBC?
Of course, Willow Springs flooded during the big flood a few years ago to the point where I recall debris in the trees about 10-15 feet above the ground. Also, I'd agree that the racetrack comes first and then some pitch is made for the stadium and only if a team is secured for it. A multi-use stadium is the way to go so it could accommodate both teams if secured, either/or if only one team is secured, and to minimize risk if no team is secured.
That also being said, I personally think (no links at this time but thanks for not asking) that SA can not support three major league sports. The Spurs have a hard enough time squeezing money out of the people and corporations of the city. They constantly work all angles and search endlessly for new revenue streams to make it all work. This is a championship team and it still requires this type of effort. Most teams that relocate are not elite level teams and unless the Texans or Cowboys decide to move to SA, there would be some initial interest but unless the team started winning quickly, interest would diminish rapidly. Given the limited income of the residents of SA, choices have to be made. Do you watch your beloved world championship San Antonio Spurs whom you've had a love/hate relationship with for most of your life, or do you watch the relocated franchise that is struggling to stay out of the cellar in their rankings. As a corporate sponser with limited budgets for such things, do you associate with a clear winner or a possible perennial loser?
Nice recovery, Beerman.
Building a racetrack for IRL or Nascar is a ridiculously dumb notion. All of the new tracks around the country were wholly built and subsidized by companies like SMI rather than publically. Also, "major-league" racetracks like TMS, Fontana, or Phoenix are built far away from the city, not right next to another arena in the middle of town.
If someone like SMI or Indy wants to spend $200M on a racetrack that will have events about as often as the 'Dome, that's their business. But if a speedway comes to a vote for city monies, it will be shot down in flames.
And Captain Obvious still doesn't get it.![]()
I also think that the time is past for cities to build facilities and pray for a team to relocate. Though it worked out awfully well for Baltimore and St Louis in the 90's, right now most cities don't have the money to play Ray Kinsella with, and taxpayers don't want to foot the bill for new digs unless they are backed into a corner with a relocation threat or something.
The Texans, Browns, and Panthers built homes after their franchises were awarded. Of course, the Jacksonville Jaguars renovated the Gator Bowl for what it would have cost to build a new facility.
Uh, don't confuse me with your life story. I'm sure no one here who knows me thinks I am not this much of an asshole offline as well.![]()

No where in that article does it say that HollyHills has purchased that land. Furthermore, it does talk about the current land owners and their views on any development proposals.
However, of note is the fact that the developer is a convicted felon. Mail Fraud being the crime. Good to know the people that are looking into this are class acts.
Its pretty safe to say that the article makes it very clear HollyHills has not purchased any land near the vicinity, and surely not the land outlined by Buddy Holly.
Thank you for using an article from the 11th of this month.
I'll go with the CEO's interview the other night.
But keep going Manny. I'm sure you'll strike oil some time within the next 200 years.
