the one thing that's underrated about Carroll is that he can attack mismatches. He can post up smaller guys or drive to the rim against bigs. Aldridge/DeRozan pairing has always created mismatches which should benefit Demarre
Well we had Dennis in a dress so as long as he can ball that's all I care about.

Per Woj, Spurs and Carroll reworked the deal to three years at $21 million.
Classic spurs move lol
Oh gawd dammit. On my way to buy a Clippers jersey.![]()
I don’t understand ... if you agree two year why give him on more. Plus he is not that young.
Not sure about the details, but there better be a team option on that third and final year.
Unless the 3rd is non guaranteed.... I have no words..
Moratorium period gave Carroll more leverage from other teams I'm sure. A team like the Lakers would want Carroll I'm sure. I just realized this guy only shot like 40% from the field last 3 years. HIs 3 pt. % is good but everything else must be dog doo doo and he is already 32. At about 7M/yr I suppose not too bad but a pretty boring offseason for the Spurs.

"The trade"...
I don't wanna see them metro sexual outfits for three seasons. I'm assuming he probably talked to the Spurs about possibly signing with another team. That can be the only explanation
Exactly but then whats the point of even putting it in there
Exactly someone must of come calling with a third season and spurs caved
I'm confused.. I thought we were using part of the mle to sign him in the first place..
odd choice of words but i think he means the trade from 2 years to 3 years, although i dont know how this preserves the MLE?
what does that mean?
wth is going on!?
Depending on the date of the non guarantee, it would give us the opportunity to trade him after the 2nd year to take back salary..... but I have no idea if they are thinking that or not
