Not gonna lie... Would be fun to watch a Raptors vs Clippers Finals... Raptors winning would be hilarious.

Or even Celtics in the Finals would be interesting. I like Tatum and that group. Tatum would catapult to supers om if he wins a championship.
He's already knocking on the door tbh, if not already inside. Dude has been balling out.

    Lowry just fouled out.

Powell with a dumb decision to drive full speed and gets blocked at rim by Smart.

Would the Heat seriously compete in the Finals?

I love Marcus Smart and the Miami Heat team as a whole. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy this epic ECF

    Same.

The only silver lining to the WCF is one of the L.A. teams has to lose.

This is the peak for the Rockets. I don't think they're going to recover from this next season. I'm not counting them as a lock for the playoffs next season.

As of now, my sure locks:
    Lakers
    Clippers
    Warriors
    Nuggets

Thunder are out once they trade Chris Paul.
    Jazz aint nothing special.
Porzingis injury might hurt Dallas really bad.
Blazers might fight for that eight seed. Everything hinges on Lillard who I think is great in the playoffs but no way can he maintain it during the regular season.

I actually don't think that's far fetched. Old, thin, no youth to invigorate them, unlikely to care much about the regular season at this point.

The second Harden slips from perennial MVP candidate to just perennial All-Star, they're completely done.

2nd team = the local Hawks, that didn't work.
3rd team = Bullets AKA Wizards, my first team going back to the Gus Johnson days, a least they made the bubble.
4th team = Bulls, back to my Chicago and Iowa days, not there either.
5th team = Hornets, back to my NC days, nope.
6th team = Nuggets, the other Western ABA team. Beat LA!, then beat LA!

When did you live in NC and what part of NC did you live in?

I think Moreyball will still get the Rockets to the playoffs. That is the double-edge to his system...great for the regular season and against lesser teams who aren't scouting it, but has proven time and time again that it's vulnerable in a seven-game series against playoff compe ion.

The real question is whether a new coach will implement it the same way Pringles did, and that could lead to their greatest falloff. Will they do like the Suns did when they ditched small-ball and brought in Shaq?

Wanted Raptors but close with no cigar. It will end up being an epic one year Championship run imo.

Fun team. Never count out Masai. They’ll run it back next season though won’t be as good. And then the decks are cleared in the 2021 offseason once Lowry’s salary comes down (he’ll likely resign for less).

The Heat are also really fun. Solid roster construction considering no high picks ... Winslow was the highest and they moved on from him. Never count out a team with Spo coaching.

Would really be awesome if the Heat win it all with no marquee player, tbh.
