OKC takes three bets on talent with a championship caliber roster. Spurs can't make room for a #8 pick when they barely have maybe 2 future starters and no more than 5 legit NBA players. Tim Connelly and Presti are showing you the way, yet they live in this parallel reality where you pass on shots at talent for marginal NBA players and somehow you're building a contender with scrubs. Disgusting.
Even worse, ownership is throwing away picks in order to line their pockets and save money instead of actually taking a chance on players like the Thunder are doing.

Free agency will need to bring answers. Can’t really judge things too much until we get there and see what happens.
We've been saying the same thing for years and their biggest moves in FA was McNuggets and Collins.

This FO is doing absolutely jack when Free Agency opens up tbh

At this point of the process, I would rather add cheap, more promising, prospects through the draft, than expensive journeymen through free agency, tbh.

Sad that other teams are still dumping out for future seconds but Spurs couldn't. In a way, being able to include "draft rights to X" might be useful in 10 years ...

But also, Spurs probably get off a little on being able to crush the NBA dreams of overseas players. Must have felt good sticking it to Hanga, they needed a new whipping boy

Yeah I guess I’m just stupid bro, wish I could be smart like you and patfo

What did you think of the Primo pick at the time? Just curious
With the amount of FRPs they have, they won’t be onboarding any SRPs for the next 5-6 years. The first one will be sold, stashed or both. The second one will be for a 2 way for Austin. They’ve done this for at least 3 years. Figure it out,

When they picked Primo, I had never heard of him.

So i guess we know that the Spurs were hoping Toronto could tank hard and slip into the top 6 this year. Spurs keep getting disappointed.

I apologize, I will refrain from reacting with emotion like a fan. I’ll continue watching 50+ loss seasons with silent complacency

And I didn’t even say I was surprised. I expected R2 to be horrendous like R1 and it was. No surprise here

I mean it just gets to a point where Charlie Brown actually likes having the football yanked away by Lucy.

At this point I'm only watching to see if someone has the balls to draft Bronny and make the Lakers give up real assets for him.
Brian could redeem himself a little if he does this move

I’m a fan. I just know how they operate, and don’t expect them to do otherwise. If you expect or wish for that, you’re going to be pissed and disappointed. Quick tip for next year: completely ignore the second round.

Spurs may take that bluff and be like we actually would love to stash Bronny in Australia, saves us money lol
