**game update** for those who care, lakers up 4 at end of 1st
They will. The Spurs will at one point in the 3rd take a 6 to 9 point lead only to let it slip by the beginning of the 4th. The 4th will be hard fought but the Kings will tire and will not get as many rebounds and loose balls. They will start taking jump shots and hit front iron. The Spurs will take the game by 6 to 12. Same story different game.

All we need to do to win:
1. Get the friggin defensive rebounds
2. Get someone other than Rasho to hit some outside shots
I believe you are correct. 56-51
Nazr- 0 rebounds
Horry- 0 rebounds
Finley- 0 rebounds
Keys to winning this game:
1) Play defense, stop giving up easy shots
2) Defensive rebounding, someone put a in body on Bonzi
3) TP, stick to lay-ups
guys kings were home first game in the playoffs
that of course is going to help them
spurs let the cowbells get to their heads but they have a deep bench
the way the kings played down 6 is very good
all they are down is 2 possessions
OK, i am calmer now. We have seen this before... Spurs look like a girls Catholic Middle School team first half , get embarrassed then kick it into gear in second half. Lets hope they do this game.
oh and bibby is 2-9
bibby can not buy a shot in the playoffs
His jumper isn't quite there yet. I don't know why he's trying to force the issue.
Nazr should see some more minutes in the second
Nazr two points
sorry i do sound a little brokeback. im just not used to this kind of basketball. remember we had peja.![]()
I hope the Spurs win tonight, because I already ate a bowl of ice cream...I have no more comfort food left...I will have to take out my anger on the hole in my bed.
I think his jumper is there, it just depends on if he's feeling it that night.
Only down by 6? With the way we've been playing? I'll take it. Spurs always seem to play better from behind anyway. And what about Beno? He should be the first PG option off the bench in the 2nd half for Pop. He made so much happen, most of all bringing us back from 12 down to 4 in a hurry.
mando
The only key to game for the spurs is keep SAC from playing volleyball at the rim.
If it weren't for Beno, we would be in a tough as situation.
Exactly. Almost every game the Spurs do one of the following:
1) Get a fast start to build a 15+ lead only to let it slide in the 3rd. Win the game in the 4th.
2)Start ty to be behind at half, but cut it to under 10 by half. Kick it up in 3rd to take a lead, then let the lead slide and take a slight deficit. Kick it up again defensively and offensively at end of 4th to win.
The games they lose they either get behind by more than 15 at half or by more than 15 late in 3rd. They usually fight back at the end but come up short with little time left.
If they come out big in 3rd and keep it to almost even going into the 4th, the Kings will not have the legs to keep up if the Spurs put in a spurt.
his jumper is there almost
look at his free throw percentage the last few weeks
he is shooting alot better then bibby
that's understandable. Getting a little toughness after years of pussies will do that to almost anyone. I'll say this... the Kings are much more impressive than in prior years, even in 2002.
parkers jumpshot is awful.![]()
too sad the game isnt being broadcasted here (philippines)
instead theyre doing the lakers suns game.
