    The Mavs came out with more energy and we have yet to match. The officiating may be , but we have to play through it. Van Exel is a non-factor now and Beno has to step up. And Manu needs to pull his head out of his ass... again.

    You're right. The officiating is not the problem.

    Nick Van Exel singlehandedly took the Spurs out of the game at both ends of the flloor, and they're still staggering to regain their composure and their rhythm. The Mavs have jumped on the chance. It doesn't really feel like the Spurs are as far down as they are. They'll make a run late, but you know this series was meant to be 1-1 after 2 games and 2-2 after four.

    Nick needs not to play again in this series unless an injury makes it necessary. He is no longer an NBA-caliber player.
