Well, that will be revealed in a future episode. As will the fact that Naomi met Charlie in 1996 right after his encounter on the street with Desmond outside the Widmore building, and Charlie saved her life.
1) Dharma/Mittelos/whoever staged a crash site so that nbody would come looking and find the island
OR
2) There are parallel realities intersecting on the island
OR
3) Naomi is lying
Well, that will be revealed in a future episode. As will the fact that Naomi met Charlie in 1996 right after his encounter on the street with Desmond outside the Widmore building, and Charlie saved her life.
Jack is turning into a real ! WTF Kate comes and tells you this big secret and you can't even tell her one?! UGH he's pissing me off. I wish he would just get jacked (hahah) by Juliette and find out that she's betraying them all and get it over with already. He needs to go back to being the tough guy Jack, leader of the Losties!
I can't wait to see what happens when Sawyer shows everyone the tape that Locke gave him, is gonna hit the fan!
My cousin has a roommate whose butcher's sister's best friend's dog groomer knows a guy whose ex-girlfriend's sister's uncle has a lady who cleans his house, who also cleans the house of Damon Lindelof.
Jack rather obviously is working with Juliet. He knows Kate is pregnant. His behavior is similar to Michael's last season, except of course that he hasn't started shooting people yet.
The tape recorder is going to shatter confidence in Jack's leadership, and I would expect several of our favorite characters to form a new camp led by James (Sawyer) and Sayid.
So Jack is turned? He's working for the others? And how do you know Kate is pregnant? I know Juliet mentioned her on the tape but I figured she was just going to stick around long enough for her to get pregnant then do her research.![]()
He's rather clearly cooperating with Juliet. When Kate gave him the news about Naomi and the radio, notice that Jack was not immediately thrilled about the prospect of getting off the island, but rather flashed a look of panic at Juliet.
The plotline is telegraphing the fact that Kate is pregnant. It's obvious. The Others set it up for her and Sawyer to have sex. They were monitored. The sperm count for men on the island is sky-high. Juliet already left in the message on the tape recorder saying she was going to take samples on "Austen" (aka Kate).
It's also obvious that Juliet was lying about Sun's conceiving on the island, by the way. 53 days ago on the show, Sun and Jin were on the outs after it was revealed that Sun could speak English. They didn't have any "makeup sex" until at least day 44. Juliet didn't know about this, and so couldn't incorporate it into her lie. It can't be explained away by uncertainty in determining the baby's age, because Juliet clearly said she could nail it down within a day or two.
Juliet has any of a number of motivations to lie about this. If she convinces Ben that Sun in fact did conceive on the island, and voila! she survives under Juliet's care, she is that much closer to conning Ben into letting her go home. Or at least she hopes so.
This sets up the future plot twist where Sun figures out that Juliet is lying, and that her life is not in danger, but that Kate's is.
All the little twists and turns over the past three seasons paint a picture about where the show is going.
It had been obvious for example, ever since the episode where we saw Locke's dad throw him out the window to protect his scam to bilk a woman out of her money, that he would be the "real Sawyer."
Again, we saw the shipwreck last night, the Black Rock. Locke mentioned that it was a slaving ship brought to the island to provide workers. This gives us a clue that people have been coming to this island because of its special properties long before the Dharma Initiative ever existed.
Also, we know that the captain of the Black Rock was Magnus Hanso, which gives us an obvious insight into Alvar Hanso's interest in the island.
nice....what board do you go to for LOST?
They have boards?
(Googles) I guess so. I'll check a couple out.
Yeah, sometimes the ABC board has good posters...I forgot where I found all the spoilers and thank god.
Nothing is worse than spoiling a show before you see it.
But there was one site that was dedicated to "theories" and they hit the nail on the head a couple of times.
They claimed that the (at that time) new hatch was a huge magnet and it was the reason why the plane crashed on the island. They also claim the island had weird powers due to its highly unstable or beefed up electro magnatism
There was alot to read.....
4815162342.com is a good board that I get info from every now and again.
Badass episode tonight, some good questions were answered and is Locke dead?
Holy Bleep! That was a bad ass episode, and I heard that there was going to be more deaths, but I never thought it would be Locke. Wow! What a great turn. And, Jack needs his ass kicked, their camp isn't a dictatorship, he doesn't decide who gets to know what and when. Sayid needs to whup some sense into him.
I think Locke may live. He heals fast on the island.
I think they are on the same page now, getting ready to some up.
Ben is one evil bas though, he en went mass murder on all those people!
the last episode of lost i saw was when jack, kate, and sawyer were captured by the others. and the black dude and his kid got to leave the island on a boat.... so what have i missed??

FYI... Jacob was Terry O'Quinn (Locke) in a wig. I'm not sure if it's Locke with long here or someone who just looks like Locke who is Jacob but whoever he is, he was Terry O'Quinn in a long hair wig for that second he was visible.
I couldnt see anyone did yall see a face, I just saw hair.
I watched on HD and have a DVR so the picture may have been clearer than yours and I did pause afterwards on that moment. It's Locke with a bad wig.
HMM thats pretty crazy I wonder whats gonna happen with that.
Here is a link that will take you to the pics of jacob or locke or whoever the he is.

I thought Jacob would end up being Ben's father. I had it all figured out. Ben wanted to humiliate Locke by showing he couldn't kill his father because Ben was embarrassed that his people knew he was too weak to kill HIS father. But Locke returning with his dead father just made the humilation worse for Ben.
Plus Benjamin was a son of Jacob in the Bible.
Oh well, so much for that.
I think Locke's gonna die.
Ben is one bad mother er.
The season finale should be badass from what I've read.
The Losties vs The Hostels(others?) looks like it will finally happen.
This show is my favorite on tv again after tonight's episode.
I dont think Locke is going to die, I think there is something bigger going on with him.
