    It wasn't a fumble because the ball was down. His knee hit, and the ball was jarred loose by the ground. Essentially, the play was dead when he lost the ball.

    ohh, so technically they turned it over on downs and all that crap w/ SEA picking the ball up and running w/ it was nothing? ohh that's right, when SEA snapped it on their next play, they were very near the goal line, not 20 yards out. i got it now. there was so much commotion at the time that i don't know what the actual events were considered.

    this is my first year really watching football, and i know a decent amount of stuff, but still need clarification sometimes.
