he's smart enough not to let a journalist do ent his every word during a season for a book.
We're homers because we believe that a guy dunking at the end of the game during a guaranteed victory is classless?
he's smart enough not to let a journalist do ent his every word during a season for a book.
Wouldn't be surprising if Phil doesn't trust them yet, either.![]()
Yeah, and I'd love it if every other team had someone writing down all their behind-the-scenes comments and publishing them for all the world to read.
And I'm merely calling a whiny a whiny .
Whiny .
every other team is too smart to let that happen.
Typical Spurs fan...thanks for meeting my expectations perfectly.
You must love to hear yourself talk.
Coupled with blaming the refs and suggesting that a flagrant foul would have been a good idea, yeah. Your team away a big lead because they stopped trying and completely got out-hustled. Smush was excited to be on the court. If you were so concerned about sportsmanship I'd expect to see you mention Baboso taunting the Laker bench after that three.
I certainly enjoy embarassing you on a message board, but like you said, that's typical.![]()
Maybe so.
Personally, I wouldn't have done it.
What I love is how the writer prefaces every thing with "Understand, Shawn Marion is a really really good guy, but here's pages and pages of examples of him being an insecure ........Understand, Amare Stoudemire is a really really good guy, but here's pages and pages of him being the most arrogant re alive.....understand, D'Antoni is a really great guy, but here's an entire book about the he talks behind other coaches backs..."
Cool...be sure to let me know when that happens.
Whatever man - Spurs fans were calling for Barbosa's head when he made a steal with 38 seconds left and tried to run a fast break back on February 1st. I'm merely calling a hypocrite a hypocrite...
What Raja did was fine with me in my book - you seem to be playing the "Smush is too dumb to know better" defense but that doesn't mean it's right... I mean, we're not trying to tread into Nate Robinson "they punked us" territory here, but that's a pretty blatant and low-class move in the playoffs.
I like how, even though it keeps getting brought up, Suns fans completely ignore Barbosa talking at the Lakers bench when he tied the game at 89...
Barbosa wasn't taunting the bench - he was telling the ref that he got hit by Smush as he took it. I rewound it 3 times to make sure because I didn't want the guy to start going Tim Thomas on us just because he won the 6th man award.
However, the more hilarious outtake was when Sasha Vujacic runs up to Odom at the end of the game and says " those mother ers." Makes me think of that little guy in BASEketball who just wanted to fit in.
I think some of you suns fans are just looking for things to complain about.
I dunno man, I replayed it alot too, and he was right on the sidelines, and he points directly at the Lakers bench as he was talking...
Lastly, if by some chance he was taunting, it would probably be in response to some kind of stupidity from Turiaf or Sasha... I just don't think it's something he would do and the camera angles coupled with some Suns haters have turned this into something it isn't.
If Doug Collins (a guy who likes to invent that isn't there) doesn't say anything, then it probably didn't happen. Maybe karma came back to bite him in the ass when Kobe hacked the out of him a few plays later when he made that twisty move.
You've obviously never met Purple & Gold on this message board before... talk about inventing things to complain about.
All I know is that it was the 2nd time he had hit from that corner and also the 2nd time he thought he'd been fouled in the act of shooting. The first time, he definitely complained to the official about the call. The 2nd time... well, we all have our opinions, but I hate the Lakers so much that I'll let his taunting slide even though I thought he was pointing to the ref (near the bench, but off camera) and saying he was hit again.
And if he's taunting, it's not like anyone could have understood him anyways.
First of all, you haven't called anyone anything up to this point. I'm not sure why you feel the need to jump into the fray, other than to side with your fellow Suns fans. That said, if I were Mannyisgod or AHF then you could call me out about it. But since you weren't all that outraged at Barbosa for doing the same ing thing in the game you cite, that makes YOU the hypocrite, not me.
First of all, Smush IS too dumb to know better. There's a ing reason he lost a starting job he was lucky to have to a rookie at the end of the season. I'm the first ing person to say how stupid it was in this thread; look it up. I still think anyone who gets pissed off at that is re ed.
I stand corrected. My other evidence of your hypocrisy still holds up.
I have NEVER liked that little bas . I don't know why, but I just want to hit him with a shovel (in my mind).
I'm quite sure you wouldn't be able to recognize it on your own. Maybe you can have someone re-read the thread to you.
