The question was valid, and your response is as well. That brings up another question. Are Argentenians considered hispanic or latino? Would the basic racial hate speech targeted towards latinos be viable towards Argentenians?

well, we do consider ourselves Latin American, but I've heard a lot of racial smack directed to the Latino population of the US and I'd have to say it doesn't really apply to Argentina. Racially speaking, most of Argentina is descendant from Europe, so if you want to racially insult us, I suppose the "cracker" smack is always viable

Argentina has big racial issues. Argentine fans yell racial slurs all the time. and most of them do, not only a few of them.
, when I was in Buenos Aires for a game of 2 local teams, they will yell the out of the darker players like "negro de mierda!"
and when they chanted vs. rival Boca fans they chanted "you are all dirty indians from Bolivia and paraguay" LOL
so I do beleive many argentines are racist, IMHO. , they come from italians which are racist mofos themselves.
oh I agree, a lot of Argentinians are racist. Its a problem we face and don't really focus on solving since within our population and throughout our history racial tension hasn't really been a problem here.
yes. it's the kind of racism that is common among latin american countries. and coming from the US that is just more noticeable to me. and the main diference is that in countries like Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia things are changing regarding racism. Not yet in Argentina.
but that being said argentine ppl are great, I would go back there in a second. and the women..... my god
The reason Argentine hasn't had racial tension in its history is because its population is 98% European. And the reason it is 98% European is because the native peoples were either driven out or exterminated, and because African slavery was not a major ins ution the way it was in Brazil.

Some, not many. I have some Protestant friends. The school I went to was very diverse in terms of religion.
I've read somewhere 85% of the country is Catholic.
