Nice to see Dallas Fan living up to form.
Forgive me here, but are the same Redskins that said they beat the Cowboys by 21 because of Sean Taylor saying the same thing about today?

I never defended the excessive Sean Taylor hype, nor even claimed that the Redskins were all that good.

But they aren't much worse than the Cowboys. And it'll be interesting seeing THAT bit of dancing around here if/when they fall short.

They never said the 21 point spread was because of sean taylor, CP just said it wasn't a coincidence.

I don't see why there is a backlash against them rallying around this. It's not the least bit inconvenient to fans of any other team.

I think Blaze is alluding to how everyone said it was a sign from god that they won by 21 against Dallas and then they turn around and lose by 21 to Seattle.

@ the guy who responded to me like five times. I've never liked the Cowboys. I was an Oilers fan. The Mavs don't have anything to do with why I don't like the Cowboys ... however reading Cowboy Fan post is like reading Mav Fan post -- if Mav Fan had a couple les to fall back on.

Yeah, I used to love the Oilers as well...I hate the ans now because of that (although I am a VY fan). I have never latched on to the Texans for some reason.

    what philosophy was that?

the redskins may have only won 9 games this year, but i challenge any team to lose 3/5 of its O-Line (including the entire right side), its starting QB, its best defender (arguably the best Safety in football), its #2 corner, a play-making LB, and 2 of its top 4 WRs for any extended period of time, and even challenge for a playoff spot - let alone make them and have the Seahawks on the ropes in the 4th quarter in their own building.

On a game-to-game basis, with the exception of New England, you could make an argument that the Redskins outplayed their opponents in each game, even in the losses. That's not to say that the 4th quarter defeats aren't a giant red flag.

But given the injuries, youth at the QB position, and the rally down the stretch, that's more than enough qualifiers to see that Gibbs still has the attention of his team and the game has not passed him by.
And yet they still lose and are out of the playoffs. The only thing that matters is winning it all man.

You can sit there and go through all the happy times with winning 9 games and getting into the postseason. Let the other teams who are still in it actually get to where they've wanted to go since TC

    Prediction:

    Washington 29

    Seattle 13

After looking at their schedules, I have learned that Seattle does not even belong in the playoffs.

    Why?

    1) Washington probably has the second-best defense in the NFC.(Behind Dallas) The Seahawks, factoring in their lame schedule, have almost the worst defense in the entire NFL.

    2) Schedule strength. Seahawks have played patsies while the Redskins played the Pats. And the Redskins haven't just had to confront the Patriots. Washington also had to travel to Green Bay, play the Cowboys twice, the Giants twice and the division champion Bucs on the road, too. In all, Washington coped with seven games against teams that are in the playoffs.

Seattle faced almost nobody. The Seahawks played only two games against playoff teams. They played 9 games against teams with a losing record. In fact, Seattle only faced two teams that won even 10 games. Seattle's record is mostly a mirage, built on four cream-puff wins against paltry NFC West rivals San Francisco and St. Louis.

How could Vegas have put this team as an 8 pt fav????

If you take out the New England game, Washington's defensive stats improve to 2nd best in NFC.

Oh so you can just take a 52-7 ass kicking out? And let me guess, if you would've won that game by the same score, you wouldn't say "take that out".

You won't see much dancing...some people tend to disappear when there team loses. If the Cowboys get knocked out....Blaze will be here, I will be here...maybe a couple of others but otherwise it will be circus music and crickets.

looks like the Giants are coming for their third ass whipping. This time no Shockey to take advantage of our inept okie.

Serious prediction - Cowboys pull away late in a close, hard fought game in which the absence of Shockey is really felt by the Giants.

I was talking about Mav/Cowboy Fan.

They can but they wont. Giants are overrated chodes who beat ty teams to make the playoffs. Tampa isnt anything special. Giants dying to get their asses kicked in the superbowl but they wont come out of the NFC or even win another playoff game.
