My MIL (whom I ordinarily love very much) has conditioned my daughter to say, "Go Cowboys!" every time a football game comes on, even those not involving Dallas. Having grown up in Lion/Packer country, this makes me want to throw up a little every time she says it.

I haven't seen the VMAs in years. But for the last couple of weeks I'd been reading blurbs about them and the only 4 words I kept reading over and over were "Gaga, Bieber, Kanye, Swift". So I pretty much new this would not be the year I broke down an watched.
Yeah, I didn't watch them either just heard the above on the morning news shows.
Those right there... are the three names guaranteed to make me not want to watch something
