I'm going to continue the off topic for a moment.
A danish player, Andreas Knappe, just got a scholarship offer from Uconn, and he signed. He enrolled yesterday. He's a 6'8/6'9 300lbs lineman.
The last dane to get a Div-I scholarship was NFL all-time leading scorer Morten Andersen, when he signed with Michigan State in the late 70's.
This probably isn't important news, but as a danish football fan I cannot stop smilling about this. Great news for danish football. Even though both teams in the "European Super Bowl" was danish, this tops it.
Just thought I would share.
EDIT: If you guys think this is too off topic, let me know and I will delete the post.

Trying way to hard. It's sad to watch.
Great news. 2014 CB/S Tony Brown is headed to Austin with his father. 2014 QB Jerrod Heard and 2014 S Jamal Adams are also on their way to campus with their families.

**OL/DL Andrew Billings is attending a Baylor scrimmage today.
**OU has just offered LB Mike Mitc and he will be in Norman tomorrow.

It's definitely relevant and a cool story. There are obviously some legit international players out there. , Canada just beat the US in the Under 19 game a little over a month ago. I believe a Division I program (can't recall which one) signed a kid from Finland last year.
I believe one of the starting DE from FSU was recruited from Germany.
Hamilton said yesterday Baylor was making a late push for Billings. I'm sure Briles promised him he could play quarterback if he wanted to.
Some think Mitc could be a work out warrior, and little more. I've heard some concerns about Mitc being too rigid. I still want him out of conference.

Am I the only one, who has very high expectations for him this year? He looks bigger, stronger and faster than last year.

Getting back on track...
Mack Brown oddly tweeted that Onyegbule will work some at TE, possibly moving there permanently. I like this because we have more talented freshman receivers, though I don't like what this means for MJ Mcfarland. May not actually mean anything, but if MJ was performing well this might not happen.
Wait...Mack Brown tweets?
Vaccaro just has the look of a bad ass, hard hitting safety. Can't wait to watch this defense skull offenses.
Per Rivals, CB Cole Luke has set his official visit to Texas for October 6th against West Virginia. WR Devon Allen is also eyeing that game along with WR Ricky Seals-Jones.
HUGE weekend. Should be a crazy two weeks with WVU and OU back to back.
Allen has grown on me. I want Texas to land that kid. A few more recruiting cycles and we might be able to forget about the Bobby Kennedy slow, unathletic and tall WR experiments.

What? You weren't happy with the likes of George Walker, Myron Hardy, Josh Marshall, Phillip Payne, Montre Webber, etc.?

Another player Texas thought about offering last year has already left school to go back home. DT Donald Hopkins of Lago Vista is no longer at Houston.

Per 24/7, today will be OL Darius James' first practice since he broke his foot.
“He's in phenomenal shape right now,” the source said. “He worked out twice a day all summer. He went to Texas for a practice recently and Searels and Bennie (Wylie) were blown away at how much muscle mass he's added. In his arms, shoulders and chest he looks like a full-grown man.”
Quotes from CB Cole Luke on where he stands with UT (24/7):
“I try to talk to them all the time,” he said of the Texas coaches. “I would say that I talk to Coach (Duane) Akina probably every other day or two actually. We talk about a lot of things. When it comes to football though, we discuss facts about the school, how the depth chart is looking and talk about the academic side of things.”
“Coach Brown is the other coach I talk to,” said Luke. “We talk every now and then, but not as often as me and Coach Akina. We basically talk about simple stuff. Not really anything generic on why I should come to Texas, but he does lay out the reasons for me. We discuss stuff that’s really supposed to be held between the two of us.”
“I’m coming down to Austin for the West Virginia game,” Luke told Hookem.com. “It will be my first official visit and is the only one I’ve set right now. To me, the West Virginia game seems like it’s going to be a good one. I also picked it because it’s early on in the season.”
“It’s not going to go to National Signing Day or anything like that,” said Luke. “My plan is to probably end it before the end of my season. I want to see Texas and I’d like to see Oklahoma and Notre Dame for sure too.”
“Right now I’m to the point where I’ve narrowed it down,” explained Luke. “I have a top four now that consists of Texas, USC, Oklahoma and Notre Dame. Those are in no specific order though.”
Thoughts from 2014 S Jamal Adams after his weekend visit to campus (24/7):
“The day went well,” he explained. “I got there that morning around nine and I had the chance to see a little bit of the practice they were having. I talked to Coach (Mack) Brown and Coach (Duane) Akina quite a bit. I also got to talk to and meet some of the players too. The whole visit went well.”
“They were really fast,” Adams said. “It’s a lot different than what you expect going in. There’s a very fast, high, up-tempo feel to everything. Everyone there is in shape too. Top notch athletes who were aggressive, intense and just getting after it out there. I was impressed with it.”
“I think they’re going to be the number one secondary in college football,” Adams told Hookem.com. “I think Quandre Diggs, Kenny Vaccaro, Carrington Byndom and the rest of them practice hard and work hard every single play. It’s going to be fun watching them and I know they’re going to be great this year. It really speaks a lot of them, the team and Coach Akina.”
“They want you to win and compete, but they also want you to have fun doing it. I like that,” said Adams. “They have fun at practice, but put in a lot of hard work too. It just gives it a real down to earth feeling and makes the coaches seem down to earth. It’s a good feeling.”
