UTSA has an opening for a police cadet and a police officer II/III. Go to utsa.edu and the quick links and jobs. Search staff positions and you will see those. Apply for them. A job is a job.
Outside of TLU, and the the occassional tidbit of gossip from the DA (who teaches a class), I don't know anything about Seguin. And dom't get anywhere close to Seguin, it smells like chicken.
