too late.
every time i have sex.
but i can deal with that.
I never remeber there being a "good" bluelight special..... they were always these incredible bargains on crap.
just no one needed.
Ah yes, the "raginghormonespreggersgivemesomelovinrightthismin ute" sex.
I used to daydream about those days for the three months I was on restriction following the birth of our son.
I take offense to that.
You had you're water broke at Sears? I can just imagine the scene that must have caused. "Cleanup in Shoes, Cleanup in Shoes"
Son #1: went into labor at 5 am or so, had him at 12.38 pm. He would have probably come out a little earlier, but he turned.
Son #2: went into labor at 7 am and had him at 10:17 am.
Both times they had to break my water and I also had to have an episiotomy with each.
Thus endeth my birthing career.
yes, oh yes. It;s the best sex on earth!!
you made it thru the whole restriction?![]()
good for you. I made it 3 weeks![]()
whohoo ! damn your quick.
but i don't think I could handle an episiotomy. I went without one his tiem and I'll sacrifice to whatever gods require it to not get one this time either.
Daughter... labor for 17 hours. I was already on bed rest so I was at home...my water never broke, my doctor had to stick that long pointy stick up there to do it. WTF?
Son ... came on like a hurricane. Serious labor starting at about 5:00am--I think it started earlier but I was trying to sleep through it--got to the hospital at 7:00am already 8 cm dialated and totally effaced....but I MADE them give me an epidural even though they typically won't do them after 4cm. So that slowed him down considerably, he was born at 9:12 or something like that.
I didn't have an episiotomy with either, but tore and had to get s ches each time. Judging by the much quicker time my second one decided he wanted into the world, if I dare have another one, it'll probably be out of my body before I even know what's going on.
Weird, though...my first was a week early, my second was a week late.
the EPIDURAL is the sweet fruit of the gods.
It's a gift beyond compare.
Now they'll give you an epidural up to 8cm's.... and they just started giving them really early.. When I had Isabella last April they wouldn't give it to me untill I was 3cm's.... but my Doctor said that now I could get it ASAP.
but i think I'll wait a little bit and get it whenever i feel like crying.
When the wife was in labor with our first, she thought she'd try and tough it out. When the pain got too much and she got the epidural she said "Holy , why didn't I do this sooner!?!"
She got hers with the second as soon as her ass hit the bed.
once I got mine I wanted to makeout with the anesthesiologist.
pure ing heaven.
God, I can't imagine ever having to give birth. I am still amazed when I see new mom's at the hospital with a newborn in their arms. I mean, it's gotta be absolute pain to have a 7 pound thing pop out of you!
The bad part of waiting so late to give them, though, is that at 8 centimeters contractions are pretty much right on top of each other at this point.
Have you ever try to sit completely still in full-blown labor while someone is jamming a needle into your spinal cord, and one jerk from you could paralize you? I'd seriously consider not waiting so long.![]()

oh I'm not waiting that long. no!
I'm gonna be on pitocin which makes the pain 10x's worse then normal.. so the point "at which I feel like crying" is most likely gonna be 4cm's ... or less.![]()
I sure hope it's a guy![]()
My Mom is an anesthetist, so you gave me a pretty uncomfortable visual there. Thanks a lot.Seriously though, I completely understand. After I got mine, I was in heaven.
