“It was awesome to be offered by Texas,” Stone said. “Coach (Tom) Herman always has a reputation of winning. To be offered by him and Coach (Tim) Beck directly was really special.”
“I talk to them every few weeks or so,” he said. “Coach Beck came by my school during the spring to watch me throw, so yeah, I stay in pretty good contact with them.”
