Well I approve of your approval
To Raptor's def, Spurs already done that previously
Well I approve of your approval
A bit expensive or nah?
Leonard, once a beloved player for the Spurs, now sits as the enemy and will be labeled just that in his return on Thursday, Jan. 3, on national television. With that, though, comes a significant payday for the AT&T Center and second-market ticket sellers.According to Ticketmaster, tickets for this game top out at $2,250, with the lowest price at $69 for seats at the top of the venue. Almost anywhere else will see consumers pay triple digits, even in the upper level, to see Leonard return in a Raptors uniform

probably a bunch of los culowipers coming back to cheer on kiwi just like they did for kobe's last game
I will buy floor seats to boo him the entire game if he’s actually playing.
Cris with his sources on Traitor again
I thought he was going to stay with the Spurs. I thought someone mentioned the Spurs actually like the job he was doing, not just being there because he was as Kawhi's friend, but actually doing a good job.
Well if my friend was a millionaire and he asked me to join him on another team like who would said NO?
yep, Spurs pioneered it, Toronto just copying.
Spurs did so many things for that guy:
developed him slowly, never asking too much
restricted his minutes to avoid injury
gave him a championship even after he let one slip
hired his best friend
didn't require him to talk
the situation that Kawhi walked into after being drafted: was there ever a better one for any player in the history of the NBA?
I remember reading the same thing. But what else would you expect the Spurs to say under the cir stances? The aspect of this whole Kawhisis that is still not generating much of a story, but to me is particularly interesting, is the extent to which the Spurs coddled Kawhi and masked his "issues" from the general public, and the extent to which the local SA media colluded with the team to keep his issues under wraps - for his entire tenure with the team.
Agreed it will be interesting to find out years from now how much the Spurs kept behind close doors when it came do dealing with Kawhi and his entourage during his whole entire tenure in SA.
He didn't "trust" the training/medical staff anymore, had an undisclosed issue with an individual in the front - office, didn't like the front - office decisions Pop/RC made (not retaining "his boys") and wanted to be "back home in LA," etc, etc......
Anything else??????
Kawhi's hands are ridicolous ...
Yeah, dude has oven mitts for hands. LOL
I wish things hadn't ended on a sour note, but I just can't see myself rooting for him (even if I don't truly "hate" him like Rodman) any more....
me too ... I still have to burn his jersey
Check out how much of a hypocrite Cris Carter is when talking about the eerily similar Le'veon Bell situation... it's like he forgot about the whole Kawhi saga:
Why would you require him to talk. Just tell the media to themselves and dare them do anything about it. Healthy he is consensus top 5 player. What do people barely rich enough to live in NY and LA can do about it?
All this coincides with rumors the Lakers prefer to go after Klay Thomson next summer. Should still be an interesting development.
Wasn't his family building a house for his mom in SA last year? The whole "bought house" thing means nothing.
Thought it doesn't mean much myself either. could be an investment property in this case... just posting the updates I found.
Quite coincidentally, the Lakers are rumored to go after Klay now.
Like the Suttons couldn't flip a property in Toronto. It's funny how people pin hopes on what these guys buy.
