actually tagging would have been ideal. he gets to 3rd and scores easily on a wild pitch or passed ball. because of this threat it puts pressure on the pitcher to not throw a wild pitch.
I get your point of going halfway and trying to score if it hits the ground, but it was a routine deep fly ball. It was a higher probability that the ball would be caught.

I know the announcers and anlysts usually blow it out their asses, but most of them are former MLB players and WS champions. even they were questioning the base running decision.

20 years ago, maybe. I am not like that anymore. Plus, I am not 100% confident that the Astros will win the series. I know this year we have pretty much owned the Rangers, but most of that was in Arlington. Texas is a very scary team with tons of offense. Houston is one of the worst elite teams at home in a long time. It is absolutely amazing how two-faced they are.....on the road they are the Incredible Hulk, but at home they are Bruce Banner.
I feel strongly that if we don't win game 6, the Rangers will win the series in 7.
