That's a terrible argument. He should be patriotic because SPORTS FANS pay him to? No.Yes..he has freedom of speech. But you know what, it's like Eminem says it. Sure, you're free to do it, but did you need to do it? There's a lot of things that we are free to do...that doesn't make them right. And what he said is wrong. No..It's not because sports fans pay him to. It's because he's an American. If he's upset at this country for what it did to his ancestors 200 years ago, he doesn't have to live here. I don't think what white people did 200 years ago was right either, but at the same time, we had nothing to do with that. And he's living in the lap of luxury now in this country, and we have soldiers who are fighting and dying for him to be free in this country. He should respect that. I have family and friends fighting, and that national anthem is their symbol. It's our way of showing that we respect them and what they're doing. We should respect that...and even if he doesn't, he shouldn't act like he doesn't have to do it because of his race. This isn't about race..it's about stars and stripes, and having respect for the men and women who fight for us.
