Funny to see the Lakers "turn the switch on" defensively. Disrespectful to basketball to see them half-ass it so often.

Are you serious? There is no "switch" on defense. They're horrible all the time. They just get lucky sometimes. Denver is the better team, just except it and stop making "not trying" excuses for the Lakers.

The Lakers can play good defense if Phil Jackson puts out good defensive players on the floor.

That means Odom, Ariza, Shannon Brown, and Kobe. Notice how when they did that and switched to the zone defense all of the offensive boards came their way. There is a lot of blame that needs to be layed on the feet of the coaching staff right now. They are not putting the Lakers in a position to play to their strengths.

I agree with you to a degree, but that same group wasn't up to the task that much in Denver. The fire isn't always in them. Game just got better though.
