I'm not agreeing with Monos here, but I think the point is that Dungy seems to always look extra nurturing and caring when there's a camera stuck in his face, and that if he was like that around his son, he wouldn't have killed himself. Again, I'm not agreeing, just trying to piece it together.

Some people have psychological problems that no parent can see coming. The general point about a fake camera persona I do agree with. We all know the Kobe Bryant we saw mentoring and being nice to his teammates during "Kobe Doin' Work" is not the same the Kobe Bryant in team meetings or at practices that had VladRad demanding a trade away from a championship favorite and Lamar Odom on the brink of taking less money with Miami.

Dungy-Kobe in this particular case is a weak comparison, but I'll give you a mulligan because it's really hard to agree with mono here when he's talking out of his ass just to be an asshole.

Yes it is, which is again why I'm not necessarily agreeing. IMO, Dungy seems like a genuine human being who is nice all the time. I don't know enough about him to make assumptions, for all I know he could be a big phony.

I don't think anyone believes he's going world-beater. You don't start/play for a year and go gangbusters. He's got until the end of the season to look half-way decent in order for them to drum up some trade possibilities. Otherwise, they're going to cut his ass. Vince's days in a ans uniform are numbered regardless of whether or not he plays like he did at UT.

He has won everywhere he's gone. He's also been a liability in a lot of games he's played in. Hopefully the ans coaching staff will let him play his style of football and not try and turn him into Tom Brady. That's been the biggest ing failure I've ever seen. Let Vince be Vince and maybe he'll make good of a horrid situation. He's not a pocket quarterback.
