Yeah. Pretty good stuff.
The Dub Side of the Moon is good, too.
Hey IM...have you heard the Radiodread compilation?
Yeah. Pretty good stuff.
The Dub Side of the Moon is good, too.
yeah I heard the Exit Music track on my way home the other night and I was enjoying it.
>implying I only listen to that
My rotation is King Crimson and Floyd heavy.
Movie music? Are we talking scores? Or soundtracks? Or both?
F♯A♯∞ is Godspeed You! Black Emperor's first album.
the beatles became tolerable once they started to hit the hard drugs... before that it was just mushy girl music.
btw, where's that terrorist at? harlemho!
Agreed. The sappy love music by the Beatles is unbearable.
I agree. The Beatles sober weren't my cup o' tea. Once they started seeing Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds--I was more of a fan.
i was never a beatles fan. more of a sid barret/floyd, creedence, blue oyster cult, etc fan. i'm not much for sappy except radiohead, whatup IM!
anything from slayer to reggae to spanish music, that's my preferences. i listen to a ton of different music.
Not really:
You'll burn in for what you just did got.
Any true Beatles fan/historian knows that Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds being an LSD reference is one of the most re ed urban legends out there.
I am the eggman
they are the eggman
I am the walrus
COO COO CA CHOO
I don't understand how people can't get tired of that.
>impying opinions
I'm not a Beatles expert and I know that Lennon denied that the song had anything to do with LSD per se, but as music's most important role--it becomes defined by the people who are witness to it. The lyrics and ethereal feeling coupled with the time in which the song was released could be mere coincidence, but the fact that it can be associated with acid usage is undeniable.
it's now become indie approved to hate on the Beatles.
It was that damn video game, wasn't it?
tbh if there was ever a Guitar Hero: Radiohead the entire indie community might all kill themselves.
Somebody send that info to Activision and tell them to hurry the up.
I'd be so ing happy if there was a Radiohead music game.
And redhipster loves the beatles.
Well, if Green Day got a Rock Band, then... wait, that's a horrible idea.
And Guitar hero is 2mainstream4me. I play Rock Band. I also have Rock Band Beatles.
Agreed, Rock band s on GH with it's DLC as opposed to making a new game every 2 months.
yeah. Even though before that CCR pack a couple weeks back, there was just mountains and mountains of for DLC from Harmonix.
>Radiohead
>hipster music

>My face when Radiohead is #4 on last.fm without having released anything more than a single since 2007

You're doing it wrong.
The official story out of Beatles Corporate is that the song is about a picture Lennon's son drew of a classmate and then explained it to his dad as being "Lucy in the sky with diamonds" but just listen to Sgt. Pepper on acid once (I listened to it on repeat the whole night the first time I took acid, ps I took like 20 hits the first time) and you'll never fool yourself as hard as you have in this thread for the rest of your life.
