When the road trip starts, Timmy and Mcdyess are gonna need some rest..
Absolutely ... Pop is just taking another approach this season with the bigs ... most of the time one of them gets the night off. Timmy is the exception, but he needs DNPs when we have 5 games in 7 nights

Thank goodness that crappy half is over. What a raggedy game from both teams and the refs. Hopefully, the Spurs will regroup and come out focused and ready to play in the 2nd half.

Tony really needs to pull up and take a jump shot instead of going all the way to the rim. How many times have we seen him either lose the ball, stripped or blocked on these last second-going-towards-the-rim kinds of shots. The defense knows what he's going to do and it never fails.

God sometimes parker can be a ball hog

    What? when?

Bibby can't stay in from of him, he HAS TO attack and keep penetrating, it's just those ing ref who doesn't give him ANY respect...

I mean did you see the last play, Tony was trying to penetrate a give the ball to a 3pts shooter (classic play), Atlanta clearly foul him and no call...

Parker doesn't look as confident going to the basket as he was 2 years ago. He has to protect the ball better or pass it out when he goes to the hole.

I'd rather have him go to the basket every time. Hes quick enough. Even if they know hes gonna do it, hes hard to stop.

It's one thing to do it on the fast break but the defense is set back there and these last second plays of Tony going to the basket have a low success rate. Either kick it out or take a jump shot. I can't count how many times he's been stripped and yells his usual "Hey!".

Well when you see that the opposite team is allowed to foul him at will when he penetrates, it's normal to think twice the 4th or 5th time...

Tony looks fine, he has no TO and 3ast along with 13pts on 6/8.

better "Hey" than "and 1" ... hate Gasol or David West for screaming that even though the ball does not go in

I love this years Tony. He has added an incredible passing arsenal to his great game already. Your right he's been hammered a few times going to the basket this year with no foul called.

Ehh, a lot has to do with the officials not calling the foul on those breaks this season. He used to always get the call on the fast break but that isn't the case anymore, and you can see him looking at the officials everytime now because he's been used to getting those calls.

Yep, looks like Splitter will only get garbage minutes if he does get any tonight.

In all fairness though....he did get fouled at the end there.

Zebras trying to gift wrap this game to the Hawks. Foul call on one end that clearly was not a foul. No foul call on the other end. No time put back on the clock. No checking via replay to see if there even should be put time left on the clock.

Fortunately the Hawks are so bad that none of it is working.
