You know you have a dud argument when CubanSucks is backing it.
Orlovsky and a megaton of bull flags > 3rd string rookie
You know you have a dud argument when CubanSucks is backing it.
the elite Texans praying not to be caught by the refs to win a game against the Colts.
I would have agreed two weeks ago...but after getting bent over by Cam Newton then crapping the bed against the Colts it's pretty obvious the guys Wade left in charge are pretty clueless. The defense and the run game were the only things holding the team together over the past few weeks.
Take Wade, Schaub, AJ, and Mario away and put a rookie QB at the helm and you have a team that's close to equal to the Colts.
I've yet to hear an argument from you. Just mindless trolling that reminds me of kool in the nba forum (minus the)
if Dirk and Jason Terry were out I know your mindset as a fan wouldn't be far from Texans fan's at the moment
ignoring the top tier of the team being out to get your desperate troll attempt across
what? all you're doing is throwing out asshurt excuses that the meanie refs () held the Texans back from beating the most dog team in football.
I'm praying to the football gods that Wade Phillips and Andre Johnson fix our problems...
The problems aren't going to get fixed until next season when everyone is back and healthy. Getting those two back will obviously make the team better but they don't make them much more than a one and done playoff team. Considering all the cir stances, I'm content with that for this season.
Benching Yates would be a start to righting this ship.
He's not the problem. Kubiak's conservative playcalling is.
Lol 5 turnovers in 3 games
Lol 11 sax
The alternatives aren't any better. Garcia and Delhomme are both done.
Then it shouldn't hurt to give them a shot. We already know Yates isn't ready to lead a playoff team. He's a rookie third string qb. We'll be lucky to win another with him at the helm the rest if the year.
So jacoby jones not being able to run a correct route is yates' fault? We are one and done anyway. Might as well unleash him in the playoffs.
Both were brought in and evaluated. Kubiak is a QB guy, so there is no doubt in my mind that if he thought either of them were worth putting in there ahead of Yates he would have done it. In fact, it speaks volumes to how much they actually have left...which is obviously next to nothing.
Yates has made mistakes but it's a bit unfair to throw him under the bus. The defense hasn't been very helpful since Wade left the sideline. The past two games they have looked lost without him there. Not having their best offensive weapon aside from Foster isn't doing Yates any good either. All in all, this team has just had too many injuries and setbacks this season to point to one thing and say that fixing it would fix all the problems...like you seem to think putting a washed up QB in would.
If they win a playoff game I'll take that as gravy. If not, on to next year...because this team is going to be good.
Or it could be kubiak's arrogance that keeps Yates in the line up. Also, there are no garauntees this team will be any good next year.
ok, just like there's no guarantee for ANYTHING. But considering what we've seen, they're going to be amazing fully healthy
....with Kubiak leading the way
Looks like it will be the Bengals coming into Houston. They have a shot. It's just great to see a Houston team in the playoffs again. I'm giddy.
Cincy at Reliant bodes well for the Texans to get their first playoff victory. Should be great...can't wait.
This was the game I was wanting from the get go...though I halfway wanted the Tacks to sneak in so that Houston could take an nice, steamy dump on Bud Adams head for their first playoff victory.
Gonna take forever for Saturday to get here.
rather have ans than bungles, the bungles worry me a bit, we squeaked past them, aj green is BEAST
I would love to see Andre have a huge game. Dude's been waiting 9 years for this.
