Makes sense.
I think they said Hibbert won't sign an offer sheet. He will just accept an offer directly from Indy for the same amount (possibly with a fully unguaranteed 5th year) which will allow them to make their other FA moves and then sign Roy.
Makes sense.
J.R. Smith done seeking offers and has accepted #Knicks 20-percent bump to $2.8M. Second year is player option.

Ouch. JR either has a bad agent or his antics really ed his earning potential.
Larry Coon offers his list of possible amnesty candidates, which includes Carlos Boozer, Andray Blatche and Darko Milicic.

Would like either of those 3 to fill out our big rotation especially if we can oust Bonner or Blair
Boozer will most certainly be claimed before he hits free agency. Possibly the other two as well.
Doesn't being claimed before he hit FA means that the claiming team have to pick up his current contract? I'm pretty sure no-one is doing that with Boozer. I wouldn't bet on Blatche or Darko being picked up either.
Not the whole contract, but a part of it. Some team under the cap might claim Boozer for $5 mil per year, for example, and the Bulls would be paying the rest.
Kenyon Martin, Elton Brand, Antawn Jamison, Anthony Randolph.
Any others possible for Spurs?
Chris Wilcox, if his heart is good - like his agent claims, is a UFA and might be available for the vet min.

I heard that Duncan just agreed to a 3 year contract with the Spurs.
Anyone with any specifics?
He probably just likes playing in NY...

Bulls have also now informed Ronnie Brewer that his $4.37 million option won't be picked up for 2012-13.
Alex Kennedy @AlexKennedyNBA
The Toronto Raptors have renounced the rights to Sonny Weems, according to sources. Weems is now an unrestricted free agent.

Heat have agreed to a two-year deal with forward Rashard Lewis, sources tell Yahoo! Sports.

Rashard Lewis' two-year deal with the Heat would be using the veteran's minimum starting with $1.35 million next year, source said.

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to a deal with free agent G Lou Williams, a source told http://ESPN.com. Story posted soon.
Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis reunite.
The Hawks find a Jamal Crawford replacement.
Nice pickup by Ferry and the Hawks. I think at this point in their careers, I would take Lou Williams > Jamal Crawford. Crawford is more of chucker, while Lou Williams CAN be a chucker, but he's a better play-maker....
Sixers acquire Wright from Warriors for draft pick
Well, the Sixers definitely have a type.
Sixers Insider Dei Lynam reports that, according to a league source, the Sixers have acquired 6-foot-9 swingman Dorell Wright from Golden State for a future draft pick.
Wright averaged 10.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game last season for the Warriors in 27 minutes per game.

Correction: the Warriors are not getting a future pick for DWright. They are getting a player Philly previously drafted and stashed overseas

The NBA's salary cap for the 2012-'13 season will be $58M, and the luxury tax level, $70.3M, the NBA says.
FA can officially sign contracts now
Any news/rumors about Martin, Turiaf or Brand?
I really hope the Spurs could get one of them if the Spurs would like to.
Brand is not possible. He'll be claimed by in the amnesty auction by a team with cap space.
batum agreed to a 4years/45M contract with the wolves.
