Nope...lived here from 69 -74, 82-83 and since '86 when I was not in Japan, Korea, Afghanistan, etc... Hardly new, and hardly new to rivalries in sports, how about you?
Why do haircuts in College Station cost $4?
Answer: It's a dollar for each corner.

Well if that helps you sleep at night....
As someone who was born and raised in this state, I would have to disagree. The rivalry is always special. I think Texas wins big this year but they have to be focused to do so.are you new to the state of Texas? There's nothing special about this alleged rivalry. Aggie should worry about the drubbing they're going to get this week.
Which is all I was trying to say, essentially. Complacency kills. If the Horns play as complacent as they did vs OSU (not the one from Columbus, the one from Stillwater) then it will be a long day in Kyle.
We are the crackers
The crackers are we
True to our race now
As crackers should be
We've got to fight, boys
We've got to fight
We've got to fight for the rule by whites
After we've booted all the rest
We can come enjoy the best
For we are the crackers
The crackers are we
We're for white supremacy
Very true.Which is all I was trying to say, essentially. Complacency kills. If the Horns play as complacent as they did vs OSU (not the one from Columbus, the one from Stillwater) then it will be a long day in Kyle.
The sips will be fine. Carl Torbush will call a play, the Aggie defense will be counting on their fingers trying to figure out which read they're supposed to make, and meanwhile Vince Young will be able to just lob the ball underhanded to whichever receiver he chooses for a touchdown.
no one has a guess?
All I can say is that if the Kyle Crowd is LOUDER than on this past Saturday (and they will have to be...we were plenty loud enough and ISU converted every 3rd Down we all stood on in the 2nd Half), then it will be tough for VY. ESPECIALLY if they go in like they did vs OSU. Texas has been very slow to start the past few games. They have to bust out vs aTm early. The longer the Ags are in it, the MUCH better chance they have. If the Horns let them hang around like TTU did and OSU did, then the crowd (which will like be near 90K) will be all over it. If they bust out early, the 12th man will still be loud, but not much impact. 86K this weekend were relatively anemic as a backing force until the second half (except for the Student Section). I do not expect ANYONE, alumni section included, to sit for the entire day on Thanksgiving +1.
I will want to leave early to get home and see my "Men Of Corn" play CU, but my Aggie wife will not ever let me leave early.
Should be a fun day, regardless...I am looking forward to it. It is the Ags' next, and last, home game, and a bowl appearance may be in tha balance. I do not know what happens to Coach Fran if they are not bowl bound this year. It looks bleak in Aggieland.
I am personally voting for a scrimmage bowl between my Huskers and my wife's Ags if neither of us get to a bowl this yr. Heck, I'd go!
Here's to a great remaining NCAA Football season. Go Big Red, Gig Em Ags, and Hook Em Horns...(oh, and go Canes...I want no whiners this year on BCS day)
ha ha ha ha ha ing aggies lost to the raiders...ha ha ha ha ha
Something tells me those aggies will have to sing, sway, and lock arms alot more efficiently if they are to keep UT from scoring more than 2 touchdowns within the first Ten Minutes of play........
THE AFS is their last hope...
I tried to get a Fight Song started when mookie and pego and I went to the UT game a couple days ago but it just would not take
that was in the first half when we couldnt communicate through all the cannons
Did you hear about the two Aggies arguing politics?
The Republican Aggie was pointing out the government waste in having 100,000 cattle guards in the state, and was saying half of them should be laid off.
The Democratic Aggie replied that they should get six months of job retraining first.

OH, aggies are a bunch of s hooray hooray
they can't win football games hooray hooray
they like to act real hard all the time, but when they lose they always cry, so aggies are the biggest s around..........when reggie mcneal comes marching home again hooray hooray, he will not have a single fan hooray hooray, for he sucks so bad, his team is mad, and his coaches wish they could hang his ass, it all comes down to the aggies are ing s....
Governor Perry is a walking, breathing Aggie joke.
As long as he preserves or bolsters the level of conserving powers, and adherents of the conserving idealogy, he is doing his job damn well.
Whatchu talkin 'bout, MoFo?
MArcus Bryant needs to post in here so we can see his new Avatar
