pretty impressive, this dude might be the tallest player in the NBA if we sign him, who is taller? The dude literally just reaches over people down low, and it looks like he can pass. Seems like a no brainer signing especially with whats left.
Bhullar in Sacramento but he was a call up last year. Mosgov is 7'3 so i think Boban would be the tallest.

    It's true, it's true.

I've been daydreaming him being signed on a cheap deal almost everyday, picturing how he'd do on the court.

If LMA wants to play with a center, they don't get bigger
Does this guy have range outside of the paint? Seems like a good passer too.

yes he does. I watched several highlight reels. Has a very similar playing style to Yao on the offensive end. He can his the 15 to 18 ft jumper. But get the ball to him within 3ft of the basket, he is money.

God damn this team could really be filthy next season. I never figured they'd be able to replace Baynes at the backup C spot, but this guy looks like he might be capable of reproducing his production in a 10-15 minute a night bench role.

He has Baynes range. Every once in awhile he'll stick the mid range shot, not bad. Better than splitter by far in that aspect.

He is a pretty good passer, hard to say if he's as good as splitter, but better than Ayres and Baynes, no doubt.

He's smart too, should fit right in

Stats say, he has a paltry 62% from the field.

You saying that even after Spurs got Aldrige and West, we also got Yao Ming in his prime???!

Thinking more along the lines of PJ Hairston than Fournier. The Spurs aren't gonna get anyone remotely established with that cap space. PJ checks all the boxes, and the Spurs can trade Williams for him, so they wouldn't have to time their signings too much.
PJ Hairston might be the biggest knucklehead w/ an NBA contract.

I don't think there are too many better passing bigmen than Splitter in the league, so I would never have such an unrealistic expectation they could reproduce that for $2 million.

This team is still in trouble if Danny gets hurt, or goes cold at the wrong time.
With all these great signings, what do we do if the above happens?

I Suppose so. The guy looks damn good for 7'4" player. 7'8" wingspan and 9'7" standing reach. No way teams and switch a guard or even small forward on this guy.

There is some highlights where he is like 3 ft from the basket and still dunks over people because of his reach.

LMA, West, Ray, and Boban for 25mil to replace Cojo, Splitter. Baynes, Beli whose combine salaries are 28mil. Spurs still need a wing, but still, this is a huge upgrade for the same price.

Not to be premature, but the Spurs should dominate the league this year.

According to Basketball-Reference, the following are in that general price range:

    Terrence Ross ($3.553)
    Matt Barnes ($3.542)
    Nerlens Noel ($3.457)
    Marcus Smart ($3.431)
    Bojan Bogdanovic ($3.425)
    Evan Turner ($3.425)
    Quincy Pondexter ($3.382)
    Anthony Morrow ($3.344)
    Mike Scott ($3.333)
    Andre Drummond ($3.272)
    Randy Foye ($3.270)
    Ben McLemore ($3.156)
    Julius Randle ($3.132)
    Meyers Leonard ($3.075)
    Jeremy Lamb ($3.034)
    Furkan Aldemir ($3.000)
    D.J. Augustin ($3.000)
    Jerryd Bayless ($3.000)
    Anthony Tolliver ($3.000)
    John Henson ($2.943)

Obviously, many of those are likely either unavailable or uninteresting.
Give me Henson or Mike Scott - both projects with some potential to fill one of the two remaining holes, namely 5th swing and 5th big (assuming Red Rocket is 6th big).

Actually, maybe Poindexter in front of Scott. He seems like a natural Spur to me.

Marjanovic can be a really good rotation player in the regular season for our Spurs

i think this could be the most versatile roster in years,

we can go big or small,

consider, Marjanovic at center, LaMarcus at power forward, then surround those two towers with shooters

    Mills, Kahwi and Green

    Don't get it confused.

    West is replacing Baynes' spot.

Boban is replacing Ayres' spot. tbh
