Manu's tired already
Can't watch the game, what's west been doing differently?
Manu's tired already
Yup. He's been terrible. A black hole on offense and a sieve on defense(lol Kemba scoring 16 pts at halftime) Spurs were down two with TP in the game in the 1st quarter. Patty comes in with the bench unit and SA takes an 11 pt lead. Parker comes back in and it's now a 4 pt games.
I think Parker is the problem with this team
Of course Manu nearly makes the toughest one![]()
5 attempts in a half is pathetic no matter how you spin it
Playing against Charlotte..
This team is dead if they are going to need 38 year old Manu ginobili to provide day to day 15 points down comebacks.
this will be a dandy ... in their recent wins Charlotte pulled the screws tighter in the 2nd half
Mirror image of the Wiz game so far. Spurs need to get it together again in the second half.
Parker is just awful...
He is killing the offense by freezing out the best players in the team.
This team is dead if Green can't shoot 40% from 3, this season, tbh..
This. It's evident in these games so far.
What about him shooting 33% that would be great so far.
buzzkill ..I'd love for west to be great with us
The offense in the SL seems like it's going to be a mess for a while..
the pick and roll doesn't look as awkward. before manu or tony would just pass to where west was supposed to be but he would go a completely different way. He also knows better where the players are going, therefore speeding up the ball movement which now looks proper at times.
Parker with 6 freethrows..
So many ty offensive possessions.
The spurs started running when he was out and the Hornets are back again with him trying to be the offense.
Kemba Walker 16 points.
Should focus more on D rather than tying to be the offense.
I'm glad you can see the light.
pop should start the second unit in 3rd quarter
A major problem with the starting unit is that they are used to a Parker centric offense. Kawhi, Danny, they ain't creating their own offense. They relied on TP.
Now that TP takes a backseat, those guys don't make the best decisions to create. So the way forward is to find ways to create other than through TP's movement. One fantastic way was the interplay of posting and reposting with Mills and Aldridge, and Mills exploited the over-rotation and split the defense for a scoop layup. More of that and the Spurs will have a very potent offense.
The inside out game can be updated and made "beautiful" if guys keep moving and exploit holes and force rotations.
Why do I feel relieved every time Manu enters the game?
Because he will have the ball instead of the other ball handler.
Raven thanks
Manu's importance to this team stays forever underrated ..
