Typical Spurs fans. The most accomplished franchise in sports the past two decades, in the midst of a historically great season themselves, yet still playing chicken little and bowing down to the others. What's worse, the head coach and various key players have this same at ude.

The way people analyze these two teams, if you didn't know better, you'd think the Warriors were the one with the pedigree and the Spurs were the upstarts.

    All year you've been saying:

"Something feels off with this team."

"The lack of efficient volume 3 point shooting (Kevin Martin doesn't solve that issue) and this team's inability to get the line will haunt them on the road against good teams." (you're still proven right in this regard, since the Spurs have yet to notch a statement road win).

Pick a lane: Are you a rube or a realist?

Golden State is favored in a series, flat out. Depending on your point-of-view, that could be 40/60 to 10-90 (I lean toward 1 to 4). There's nothing "chicken little" about admitting fact.

I'll break silence against you for this.

Please link me the betting sites that have the Spurs favored in a series against Golden State or are favored over Golden State to win the le. I want to clean up on that action.

Ill bet you 200 spurs win in a series vs the gsw with health not being a factor. Only if they play remember.

Then link a "barometer" that has the Spurs favored over GS to win the le.

I'll wait. And until you can so, I will continue to reply to your deflections and emoticons with your self portrait.

I still remember when Harlemheat and Apo_9 were saying Curry was an overrated lightskinned guy and Russell Westbrook was the best PG in the league...

To clarify, if Kawhi sustains an injury or Curry sustains an injury, the bet is still on? Or do you want an injury out? I'm okay with both.

The bet is on. My only requirement is we both escrow the money with a trusted 3rd party (we don't have to do this now, and can wait until before the series [if it happens]).

FkLA is your boy, right? I've bet a total of a few hundred with him over the years. He's good people and can be trusted.

    Deal then

I will also retire the helmet shtick since you finally stepped up, unlike some of these other rubes.

    Not all year.

The second quote is paraphrased and the gist of it is wrong. I said, if they fail to win the championship, outside of health, the biggest internal culprit will likely be the lack of volume three-point shooting. Martin, on his own, doesn't solve the issue, but he damn sure has the potential to help.

I'm a realist. The Spurs clearly have less margin for error than the Warriors and I'm fine with people proclaiming them favorites; I'm just not going to bow down and slobber over them. That should be beneath Spurs fans.

Warriors are very, very good, and it's a tough matchup for us. It will take a supreme effort to beat them, but the Spurs have had a few supreme playoff efforts in their history.

If spurs had hit their wide-open shots for first 3 qtrs, made their layups all game, if Pop doesn't quit in 3rd qtr, the game would be down to crunch time.

GSW are beatable and when the Spurs play their game, they will beat them.

Outside of the LMA injury, i bet everything went according to plan for POP.... I mean SPURS if they were trying to not show there cards on how they wanted to play GSW then it was perfectly done... They did the complete opposite this go around.. CIA pop probably didn't want them to be able to study the film much.. Come the next home game for the SPURS i suspect we will see 1 of 2 possible scenarios... Either SPURS come out and play the way they did to get them the W in the 2nd meeting, Or CIA Pop rests the entire starting 5..

I think Sunday game is going to be huge as much casuals, in Apa words, refuse to admit it....Both will go hard for W...Pop already saying everybody going to play...If Diaw does, and this team still having trouble scoring against them on B2B, while getting carved up on D, i can't fault anybody for losing hope already in potential WCF....
