This is happening with a 60-win team...I shudder to imagine the state of Spursnation when this team slightly dips into irrelevancy, let alone outright suck ude....
I read an article about that. He had openly been interviewing at different franchises. He was openly looking for a job elsewhere. He had disagreements with management over $ and he also disagreed with personnel moves. Eventually management got tired of him but he already had the other job basically lined up.

Gasol likely still needs chemistry with the bench crew I think.
There's definitely someone still around missing, but obviously no one with access to the server/administrative duties has been around for months. Supposedly the site was going to be sold to someone who would pay it more attention but so far that hasn't been the case. IMO just give it to Splits and call it a day.
I agree with these too. We need them to be effective offensively to make up for the defensive issues. And even against like an OKC or Memphis, there are guys they can guard (Roberson, Allen) we just need them to be effective on the other end as much as possible
IIRC, Joerger hoped to transition the Grizz to a more up-tempo game, but the front office was married to grit and grind with Marc and Z-Bo.
Yeah... basically a version of this is what I read..
The Spurs fanbase itself is fine, whether online or not, but this site is in it's twilight years unless Kori/timvp actually follow through with selling the site to someone who gives a .
Gasol is playing well right now, regardless of chemistry. At this point the Spurs need to get rest for tired legs while they can and get underperforming players some extra opportunities to start playing better. I'd include Green in the latter but at this point he needs a lot of rest as well; just gotta hope he pulls a Horry come playoff time like last year.
There's mods. They just don't give a .![]()
He wanted to draft Rodney Hood... management got Jordan Adams... frankly I watched Adams a lot in college (ucla) and I think he was going to be a baller. He was a better overall player than Shabazz and Lavine and was their leading scorer plus a solid shooter... he got a knee injury at the end of his rookie season and it ended his career prematurely. We never even saw much of him. Compare it to Dijon having something in the summer that ends his career (God bless him... not wishing that)... but that's how rotten luck that was.
Joerger wanted a youth movement. Unfortunately Grizz got Vince Carter and the like. They had a lot of issues...
I think he mentioned the TO needed to be cleaned up.. which means he didn't have enough chemistry. He's got t rhythm himself but chemistry is something else.
Hood is fair - hasn't really lived up to my expectations for him. I have wondered what he could do in our system... Adams I frankly do not even remember. Pity for a young guy to suffer that kind of injury, completely altering his life - not just his career.
Fluke win tbh, giving the team false confidence.
