That’s just the vodka talking tbh.

    What’s dpr/lpr?
Donetsk People's Republic/Luhansk People's Republic...Russian-backed separatists in Eastern Ukraine. We have a few Hubs/bases on that side of the line and the local media (and Russian-backed national media) is just an endless source of comedy. The Ukrainian side of the line isn't much better, media-wise, but the other side is basically Soviet Russia propaganda--on crack. Moral of the story is if Russia reports any military "successes," be very su ious. More often than not, it's bull . Other times, it's true but the victory was a Pyrrhic one. Same since 1917 tbh

Trump's Strike Didn't Stop Assad Last Year and Won't Stop Him Now

A largely symbolic action with little consequence on the ground.

Line 1: the non guided SAMs launched by Syrian forces ballistically for the sake of propaganda almost certainly wasted dozens of their own civilians. Again.

Line 2: In terms of delivering the payload we ordered, the attack was perfect. Did it destroy Assad’s chemical warfare capability? Remains to be seen.

Line 3: eliminating chemical weapons manufacturing, distribution and storage facilities prevents another chemical warfare attack. It also directly threatens Assad with regime change should be make use of a hidden cache of them. Russia doesn’t want regime change and that is why they lie so forcefully and wholeheartedly about Assad’s culpability concerning their now numerous deployments.

    You’re like a child, really.
is it possible to bomb CW manufacturing, distribution and storage facilities without causing CW contamination?

Together these data establish that large numbers of US and Coalition military personnel were exposed to levels of sarin rated by the US EPA as AEGL-2, which is high enough to cause ‘irreversible or other serious, long-lasting adverse health effects'

Both sides are talking bull . I dont fully believe either

They probably did intercept a few missiles but also majority of them probably reached their targets

Still the conclusion is this was just a symbolic bombing

We will see what happens next 2 weeks

    And thank God to that

Still the stand off is not done. UK and Russia have real bad blood and Syria still has their special forces officers. Not to mention both Skrippal and Douma investigations.

We are not out of the woods yet

Pentagon claims complete success (go figure). Russia stated they would stop ANY attack on the Syrians. They sat sidelined. Its a bombing without any UN backing. So the symbolism is the Western powers that have the capability, and will strike Assad if they deem some act a war crime. And we have no idea if this is over or how long this lasts. I would imagineRussia did not want to have to deal with this.

Your complete capitulation on silly claims is weird.
You don’t believe either side... sure. You have never been discriminating in what you believe with all the you put up.

    So on the gas attack?

It never happened, or it was done by the U.K.? Which is it now?

I do realize those things can change. Obviously you changed some of your own opinions when you went from a Ralph Nader voter to someone who cheerleads for Donald Trump for hours a day.

I thought it was an amusing adaption of a popular meme.

But since you mentioned it, Chris, which policy changed with regard to Syria?

    It’s really not a mind...

Its more like a series of whispy, random, fleeting, fog banks rolling in and out...

It was pointless military theater when Obama did it in 2013, and when Trump did it last year. Why would that suddenly change now?

Yup; but I doubt you were that expressive about it, then.

How expressive? Posting a meme from Twitter?

Anyway, you didn't answer the question of why it would be different this time.

I'm sure you gave Obama a pass, bro. So, not expressive at all.

And how would it change now? We're being more antagonistic directly towards Russia; so, WWIII or some sort of escalation is possible.
