So, do we all feel like Phoenix got this?
They were by far the best RS team, and they're highly motivated like the 2014 Spurs. It's their ring to lose.
They did and they didn’t. I think most Pistons fans are used to seeing this team get the short end of the whistle. Cade gets plenty of respect from opposing players but hardly ever the benefit of the doubt from the referees. But call it growing pains or whatever. If they started the season winning more games and were legit playoff contenders, maybe the officials would be more open to giving Cade some calls. But it has been a consistent theme, they don’t get a favorable whistle. That said, Pistons were en fuego in the first half from three and by a lot of different guys. They cooled off in the 2nd half. Until Cade went nuclear for like a 10 minute stretch.
It’s another game they were trying to win. Even played hack-a-Drummond. Just fell short against a team that should be playing desperately. Pistons could have won the game if Durant didn’t carry the offense. He was brilliant as expected. Idk what his boxscore line was, but Kyrie was pedestrian most of the game.

Still not 100% on the suns. In a playoff series I still think bucks or Boston could beat the suns. Heat or nets could be wild cards.
Nope.
I don't know what's up with Freak and the Bucks but when they are on they beat the Suns again.
Don't even have the Suns as a lock for the West with Ja Grizzleys. Just can't count on Chrissy Paul either staying healthy or not ballhogging a game or two away.
As to the got Nets putting together a full game heck yes. A full series? Don't know if they are able to. Another 51/49 series but this time if Flat Earth stays healthy they are the 51.
Entertaining end to the Golden s - Phoenix game tonight, several lead changes in the final 2 minutes.
So much gotry on the court.
A key play was Donkey Green going up in the air but having no where to pass it to and travelling. I think he believed he could insert Klanus with the ball. But Klay was no where to be found so Donkey came down with it. Looked like a Jr. High play but hey these guys are human too. Kardashian-Booker had an obvious over the back foul after he shot a brick. Really dumb as the Suns had a 1 pt lead and were in sold position to get back on D.
Clitter Paul with some good shots late albeit pathetic D by Porter Jr. Chrissy also made his final 4 FTs.
I need to shower after watching them.
Had dough on Phoenix so had to see the end.
Draymond knew exactly where the ball was supposed to go but porter screwed it up, as he had a wide open lane to the basket but just stood there. wasn't draymonds fault at all
Aha so Donkey did indeed have a plan. A good one.
Did you also see Porter fail to guard Chrissy Paul in a critical late possession? Paul, as he likes to do puts his rump towards the defender while standing still and pounding the dribble. (This is not porn). This time he was well outside the arc and all the way over next to the sideline. Instead of playing him straight up or forcing him back to the middle, Porter completely played Paul to his (Porters) left side thus allowing Paul to simply spin and go to the right and then all the way for the layup. Why the Porter played it this way is beyond me. I suck at video clips or I would post.
Would make for a good discussion.
Porter out to lunch or had a mortgage payment due to take a dive?
Here it tis:
Video should start at 22 seconds left 102-101 Phoenix with ball.
If not to to 9:16
Still a good shot by Chrissy but why did Porter feed him into the wide open lane and shot?
Porter obviously playing Pauls far left.
why? im sure it wasnt intentional, he simply isnt that good of a defender against guys like cp3
Lol looked more like Otto Porter was unaware that Chris Paul could dribble with his left hand.
Who the plays “make him go left” defense anymore anyway? Even most big men in the league can dribble with either hand, go behind the back, and cross a man defender. Otto Porter just sucks defensively.
See below Jamstone post.
Also key point is the 9:22 - 9:23 point.
Chrissy slowly switches dribble hands as he slowly spins around. Porter (or any other NBA player) need more a picture frame to discontinue trying to overplay Paul to his left? It's basic basketball defense 101.
Wow i thought Durbetta got Zaza'd.
Well he did get a cheap shot but looks like he may be ok.
Initially thought maybe he snapped his Achilles again or blowout ankle sprain.
move by Bucks defender.
exactly my point. its not a question of why he did it. its pretty much expected, because hes a lousy defender.
The Lakers lose and the Jazz won. Today was a bad day.
Nash running 2 last second plays for KD instead of Kyrie
whats wrong with that? KD is arguably the most unguardable scorer in NBA history, with a league MVP, multiple FMVPs and a history of hitting incredibly difficult and clutch shots
Kyrie is the most clutch scorer in the NBA , has been for year
He’s weird but he has huge cojones and there is no one in the league who can keep him in check
same for KD
i see nothing wrong with nash's decision
Phoenix plays better team ball without Chrissy Paul.
2/10
Good for a LOL.
The Lakers always field a team full of unlikable s, but god damn, this year is especially bad.
watching Nets play basketball gives you cancer. What an iso fest by Durant and Irving.
Jokic is awesome. My favorite NBA player currently.
