i blame social media tbh. the era of instant gratification and overreacting to everything started when sports become 10x more accessible and digestible on social media
This preseason is also not like most.We sucked balls in preseason last year and sucked balls during the season too. Not sure what that has to do with anything
Tbh if you don't like people overreacting in game threads or in general you shouldn't be on ST. I mean that's the whole ing forumdoesn't anyone remember T Park quitting in 2005 saying the Spurs were trash and had no chance to win a ring and he'd quit ST if they did, but then didn't?
Yeah, the team used to suck during preseason because Pop didn't waste time playing our Hall of Fame vets for meaningless games. He'd go entire games without putting a projected starter into the lineup.
The majority of the players we are seeing play now WILL set the rotation for the regular season. Obviously the wins and losses don't matter, but this preseason is probably the most "meaningful" this team has had in the last 20 years.
vassell could be such a good 3&D player if he just got good at hitting 3's and playing D
Team spirit , playing together, coming together after all those years of foolishly going thru DDR and LMA and relying on Mills and Gay. They have to play D (Forbes lol) and hustle and play with abandon. That is their only chance.
