I'm leaning toward that option, we wasn't even hit on the knee but way below.
They better not sit Wemby too long, or they'll be getting a phone call from Adam Silver.

Pop snuck the phone away from his nurse and sent a message into Mitch that these guys need to get over themselves

Wemby is pretty fragile still. And if it's not a twist....

    That's nothing

I think there is a silver lining. We can take a longer look at Bassey

Mitch said Wemby and Devin wanted to be out there but are day-to-day. Basically means they could play, but the Spurs are being "extra cautious" as usual.

I meant it wasn't knee cap against knee cap bc of the size difference. Look again, maybe the side got hurt but the cap wasn't hit.

If THAT puts him away so long ... smh

I hope for the Spurs and Vic's future that he's fine and it's just part of the soft tanking strategy, especially with ATL not being as bad as hoped

I still can't figure out how so many ST posters have access to the spurs' medical records; did ST have the spurs players fill out some sore of HIPAA medical release form?

Thing is it does not matter where he got hit. If he was hit in the knee cap it is better then to be hit below causing the twist of the knee.

Being hurt in the knee depends on many things and there are 1000 ways to hurt the knee tbh. Knee is dependable on the muscles in the whole leg as well as strength in hips and in feet.

Maybe he feels bit pain in meniscus area so they gave him week off plus he is banged up ....

The last game was fun even without Wemby and getting Castle this kind of minutes is huge, especially in a win.

I want Wemby to play until at least age 40 so we don’t need any nagging injuries like the Duncan fossilized knee popping up early in his career.

We have some real pieces here, for example imagine Sochan on SGA, Castle on Willams, Wemby handling Chet. We have a team in the works still needing a few pieces but assembling the parts to keep the upper hand on OKC when things all come together.

Ok, I'm no a specialist tbh. thx

It's quite worrisome tho, it's the type of contact that will happen regularly so I hope it's just bad luck at a specific area or just Spurs being overly conservative.

So the Spurs are tanking again, right? But we aren't supposed to talk about it or something.

Nope. This game would have been comically easy to give away, and they didn’t. Same with the OKC win.

I guess the outcome of this game is relevant if you think Tre Jones and Charles Bassey are carrying the Spurs to the playoffs.
