This is why military members must be able to do a bunch of push ups and sit ups. So that stuff like losing aircraft doesn't happen.
Education, infrastructure, public health and transportation at a minimum (I would add banking and to some-greater-extent-than- now housing) should be state provided to assure a lower cost of living for everyone, including business
Other than that, capitalism generally seems to work better until something better gets here
