Filip went 2nd on the second round, far earlier than we picked. The player you are thinking of is Furphy, the guy who just posterized the out of that Bulls player.

I was about to ask the same question after the game if the Spurs passed up Filipowski in that draft, but yes, it was Furphy I was thinking of myself, so the Spurs didn't really have the option to pick him. Do you guys think the Spurs would have picked him had he still been on the board? I do remember during or after that draft, I think there was some fans here that wanted to draft him.
I also remember a poster mentioning after the draft that he was dating an older girl. I think I also remember hearing/reading that teams passed up on him due to his relationship with her. Not sure what the big deal was as it wasn't a huge age gap from what I remember.

Yes, he was referring to the game winner. Might be a weird way to put it but it’s what some people say to call it game over, mainly a win at the end.
