So basically, it will be $160.
Assuming we do it Sunday afternoon.
This is the reply I got...

We need to get a date then check availability, then start telling people. There is no point in asking everyone cause everyone has different schedules.
How about...
Place: Factory of Champions (410 & Broadway)
Time: Noon
Date: Sunday April 2nd
I'd be willing to pay for it upfront, assuming everybody helped out a little bit when they show up the day of the tournament. I may or may not bring 2 big coolers full of drinks.
Might be better to do it on a week day plus it would be cheaper.
It's only cheaper if you do it before 4 pm.
I doubt most people could make it. School and work.
screw that price, i would try Ward, there's plenty of other gyms.
Fine with me, and then we will just do pick up games or assigned teams?
You should call and check about the other Parks & Recs gyms before s ing out $160 for that one.
Prolly a good Idea that is alot for just two hours.
$160 isn't really that bad.
Plus the location is really convenient for me. Plus, I'm curious about this new gym. I just may get a membership of some sort. It's really close to where I live.
Blahhhhhh
Fine, what other gym is there? I'm fine with driving anywhere within a reasonable distance.
Where is Ward?
how much is membership there?
Doesn't say a price, just that they are now allowing "open play".
It does say the one day 'open play' pass is for like 5 bucks. , we should just do that. Tell everybody to show up Sunday afternoon and pay 5 bucks at the door.![]()
435 e. sunshine, about mile or 2 in 410 off bab .
here's the direct link to the gym

Not bad.
Do you have a website, number, any contact info? Any idea how much it costs to reserve, any idea if they would be available for a sunday afternoon?
Joe Ward Community Center is one of 27 Parks and Recreation Department year-round community centers that has facilities that can be rented by the public. Rental of the facility includes the gym and game/activity room. The fees are as follows:
# Gym practices and/or games - $20 per hour flat fee with two-hour minimum.
# General use with no admission and no concession - $30 an hour with a two-hour minimum plus $50 clean-up fee if food is served.
# Special events charging admission and/or selling concessions - $55 an hour with a two-hour minimum and $100 clean-up fee.
Which one of those do you think this would fall under?
Its only $20 an hour flat fee.
You figure that's per person or for the whole gym? 20 bucks is nothing.
It says $20 per hour not per person with two hour minimum, we could rent for at least 3 because the first hour people will get there late.
or try Woodlawn lake gym, nice gym. They were remolding it, don't know if it's finished.
