I'm still wondering why Mav fans/trolls feel the need to stick around just for the sake of posting "I want to see more Spurs fans whine". I mean if that is their only reason for being here, I have to really question the balance in their lives. Seems like they have a faux power need they need filled in their pathetic lives, if you ask me. Now, there are some (very few) that stick around to talk civil BB, but I'm talking about those that do nothing more than continue the bantering.

It does have to do with "balance of lives"...Spurs basketball is so critical to the lives of most of the people here, it's entertaining to get them going...
A little gloating is fine but that's all these Mavs' clowns are capbable of. Best way to get rid of these Mavs clowns is when you find they bring zero except gloating to any basketball discussion put them on ignore. That will get rid of about 99% of the Mavs' posters and leave the one, haven't found that one yet though, who has anything interesting to say about basketball.
Mavs > Spurs
Dirk > Duncan

I think a lot of you are feeding the trolls by continuing to argue with them about calls. They're convinced that the Mavericks are vastly superior to the Spurs, that Dirk Nowitzki is the toughest sob in the NBA and that this is the beginning of a Dallas dynasty; you're convinced that the Spurs got screwed and were actually the better team. You're not going to change their minds about those things, just as they won't change yours.
My suggestion to frustrated Spurs fans is to let it go. Root against the Mavericks if you so choose, but understand that the expression of your frustration will only encourage the Maverick trolls to relish in your disappointment further and continue to call you the very names that they rightly earned for themselves between 2001 and 2005. If you're cool with feeding them that satisfaction, keep arguing; if you'd rather that they don't troll around here any more, let it go.

But:
1. I know the Mavs aren't "vastly superior" to the Spurs. The series could've gone either way.
2. I know Dirk isn't the toughest SOB around, but I also know that most Spurs fans completely under-rate him and talk unnecessary trash about his game. I'm sure if he was a Spur they'd love him.
3. The Mavs are a team on the rise...lots of young players. I also know that the Spurs will flip their bench and be better next season too though. I can't wait for '07 either...

Duncan is a ing post player...dirk is a spot shooter.
Are you kidding me? If Satan played the post, he would get the benefit of the doubt on foul calls. When you are a post player, you get fouled...ALOT. Diop and Dampier are clumsy post defenders, and duncan moves well ( o that is his forte? anyone who watches basketball will tell you this) clumsy vs finesse = a lot of fouls.

Get your facts straight, junior. ONE person said the NBA favors the Mavs, not half the Spurs fans. Why troll around on the Spurs board?
