No, the division sucks, too. I think the stars really had to align for that group of malcontents to win a championship without ing it up. That won't survive an offseason of celebration. The egos are going to show up in force next season. Predicting that they wouldn't win the division was just a way of saying I think it's inevitable that they implode. And yes, they could have the division wrapped up pretty early as well. That's the problem with talented headcases.

-rolled through an injured EC
-phil jackson looses control of the lakers
-kobe is tired of him playing the "quarterback"role,he shoots the ball as much as possible.making the pistons defensive strategies MUCH EASIER.
-no kobe feeding shaq means lakers lost the advantage
-karl malone injured
-face it you had it really really easy against a mentally and phisicaly injured team
-overall it was more of a lakers lost than pistons won

-the brawl your criminal acts in the brawl led to the suspension of the guy that actually caused trouble for you(artest)you had it easy again

Dude, give it up. The Pistons earned that le in '04 with gritty play. There was no luck involved. Not only did they beat the Lakers, they outright dominated them in all four victories.
Had the Spurs gotten by the Mavs, they would have stomped the Heat in '06!
As it is, the Heat took advantage and won.
