OMG That is one of the funniest things I've ever read. Who gives of themselves from sun up until sun down 7 friggin days a week for their families, cooking meals, taking care of and shuttling kids, cleaning house, washing clothes, working, going to ball games, concerts, plays, school meetings, being there for your spouse, loving them, being a companion, a friend , a lover, staying up all night cleaning up vomit and comforting sick children, going back and forth to doctors and pharmacies? These are just a few things that money grubbing s do.
Oh, man ... that is so not true. I dated an air-traffic controller once who made big bucks, had the loaded Lexus & an awesome house ... and was pretty good looking. But he had no sense of humor whatsoever. It was horrible. I tried to hang in there because of course it'd be nice not to have to worry about the rent, but my sanity couldn't take it.

Off the top of your head can you give me the dates of your children's vaccinations , tell me their current weight, what medications they are currently on and at what dosage. the name and phone number of all of their doctors, if they are allergic to any meds, what each of their shoe and clothes sizes are this month. If you can then you are probably a single father with primary custody or a very rare man who actually takes ma little more than a passing interest in his children. Most men just show up when and where they are told to by their wives in order not to disappoint the children and then resent the out of the fact that they had to give up a Tuesday night to sit through another band concert or expect a medal because they agreed to drive through the pharmacy on the way home to pick up a prescription.You don't think we do that too and also provide for the family income. Are you trying to tell us that you and majority of the men in this world do ALL those things and work? You cook dinner and prepare lunch, clean the toilets and vac e, help take care of the kids and organize their activities, help them with HW, etc., run errands, and everything else? I don't know many men that do all that and provide for the family income. However, I do know of many women who do all that and provide for the family income.
That's very good, Dirties...I underestimated you. Now on to your wife. Do you pay as much attention to the details about her as you used to in the early when you were trying to woo her? Do you know her shoe and clothes sizes without looking, what kind of deodorant does she use (including scent), toothpaste (if it's different than yours), what's her favorite brand of bras, jeans, favorite color (it may have changed over the years). You don't have to report the answer here. I'm just trying to get you to think if you are holding up your side of things since you're being so adamant that women aren't holding up their side. Ask her those same questions about you.

I wasn't asking if you shopped for your wife's clothes. No woman wants that. But sometimes she might say " these 6 or 8's don't fit anymore and I had to buy a 10" and you keep your mouth shut. But you know she wears something around a 8-10. It's not about being needy, it's just about showing you care enough to pay attention to what she says.
