Nah, they just did it for like 3 possessions. I think Pop just did it to disrupt the offense because the Mavs were on a roll.

I can live with that, I mean Dirk's jumpshot is hard to guard anyway, but if we can take his drives that lead to Ft oppurtunities that can be a plus
If hed do that more often, even as just a disrupter, that would help tremendously in the playoffs.

It's not a lock by any stretch. The Warriors have to win out (including a game vs the Mavs) and the Clips have to lose today. They still have a whole half to play and the Kings aren't exactly defensive stalwarts.
Thank you you couldnt have said it better!!!! that is exactly what they will say!!!! the damn commentators will really make excuses!! u notice they keep saying it over and over that this game is meaningless!!! and its pissing me off they keep showing good plays and over exaggerating on tha damn ! but they wont show any of our plays and if they do they will show it once and make like it wasnt !!! If someone was listining to this over tha radio and without them saying tha score a person would think we were getting STOMPED!!!!!

I almost wish the "This is How a Heart Breaks" campaign was on over this "Right Now" . The "Let's Get it Started" one was way better.
The Spurs D for the most part wasn't bad in the 1st half as the Mavs made some tough, contested shots. The reason the Spurs aren't ahead by double digits at this point is because they became completely lax on transition defense for a few minute stretch in the 2nd. During that time they also had at least 3 unforced turnovers that led to easy points for the Mavs.
If this is a future playoff matchup, the key for the Spurs on D will be transition defense, limiting TO that lead to fast breaks, and throwing a healthy dose of man, 2-3 zone, and I would also like to see a little box and 1 from time to time if a particular shooter gets hot.
It's a lock. Spurs going to win today against the Dallas bench in second half. This puts pressure on Phoenix to kick Clipper ass in upcoming game. While GS will beat up on Dallas bench.
